Flynn's Tire & Auto Service - Boardman

Flynn's does more than just tires really well. They are honest, courteous, and really qualified for automobile repairs as well. We have been taking our cars for repairs to Flynn's Boardman for about 4 or 5 years. Either they fix it, or are up front if an issue is best dealt with at the dealer.

Been going to Flynn’s for tires and oil changes for many years. Always satisfied with service. Try the buy online option! Pretty cool and easy! Recently started using for other car maintenance and repairs and Flynn’s does a great job at a fair price. Highly recommend!!

I have used Flynns Tire in Boardman on a number of occasions. In years past, the service was acceptable and I would utilize them primarily for tire mounting, balancing, and alignments. However, it seems the quality of work has slowly declined and I am afraid I will be looking for these services elsewhere. My two most recent instances were an alignment on a vehicle. After installing all new steering components including steering box, idler arm, pitman arm, tie rod ends, etc, i brought the truck in to be aligned. Following, the alignment was OK but the wheel was off. I explained to the team and was met with it is what it is and it was an issue with my vehicle. Knowing all components installed were OEM and properly in place, I was suspect. I had the truck realigned at my cost at a competitor and magically it was fine. The second most recent instance, chalking the prior to a fluke, was with tire installation. I purchased a brand new set of tire with white letters. I asked the technician at the desk to install these white letter out. I called and reminded them to do so even. I went to pick the vehicle up and they were black wall out. I was visibily frustrated and was offered nothing when this was presented. After bringing the truck back to my shop, I then found that they gouged the inside of my aluminum wheel, which was not disclosed. This was in December of 2024. I have used this team for years but things at this location are in a steady decline. If you cannot mount tires or conduct an alignment, the simplest of work, I would be hesitant to bring any real mechanical work here. I write this review now as I have 4 tires to be mounted on a vehicle. In thinking about where I will be bringing them, I was reminded of the frustration of these past experiences and felt compelled to leave this.

Got new tires and got new sway bar for my car. River was very friendly and made the process easier by text as I was at work. Thank you Flynn’s for making this painless as possible!

Amazed by the great service I received at Flynn's in Boardman! The guys I dealt with were extremely polite and professional. They got me in quickly and replaced my tire within a few hours of me calling. My new go-to tire shop in Boardman!

Highly Recommend!!! Thank you Roger and Alex!!! I experienced a tire blow out on my RV en route to a motocross race for my son. Unfamiliar with where we were we had tried calling a few places. We went into one another because it was the closest. After getting an eye on their staff and operation we called Flynn and had a better feeling. When we arrived at Flynn's it was clean, neat and the staff were courteous and professional. Alex who did our tire repairs was very knowledgeable and understood our need to be off on our way feeling comfortable for the last leg of our trip. It felt personal and I knew we were in good hands and could trust the repair. I am very thankful to Flynn's for keeping us going to make the race.

Customer service robotic going by routine narrative, not very personal. Two instances had to wait for almost 3 hours with or without appointment. Very over priced on labor and parts. They're more expensive than dealership pricing and competition. They weren't even busy. That's why posted pictures. Honestly this is why it's so frustrating. Walked around enough. This what got to me. Did excuse my cantor but when it happened twice even when I scheduled an appointment had to voice my frustration. Got my issues addressed somewhere else. Reviews in this instance is why I went, but my first experience turned better than any review that was scripted or provided. One recommendation I would suggest change seats very dated.

Just ok tire shop. Never overly friendly. I question the speed of services, especially when you make an appointment, they provide and the advice they give you for those services. I always walk out never feeling confident about what is recommended or needed. I wish there was more of a relationship to say, "look, you don't need new brakes at the moment but very soon". Instead, it's just, "yeah you have a light vibration in the brake pedal. It could be A, B or C but here's a $1000 quote. What do you want us to do?" I'll be back mainly because I'm loyal to the brand and the small business but wish it was more pleasant experience

The staff was extremely helpful in getting me back on the road after a tire failure during a 10-hour trip. The manager, Mr. Brock was friendly, professional and attentive to my needs and budget. Technician Brenden was very informative and detailed-oriented, he did a wonderful job and repaired my truck's issues in very little time. Thank you.

Got our tires form you in and out. We just had the first tire rotation had a few people in front of us so a little bit of a wait. All good was pretty quick and everyone was friendly. Thank you
