Japanese Car Care

Japanese Car Care did an awesome job replacing my clutch, front brakes, and serpentine belt. They kept me updated with clear communication and even sent pictures of my car's condition, which I really appreciated. The turnaround was quick, and my car feels great now. Highly recommend them for honest and reliable service!

Japanese Care Care and an amazing business. They go above and beyond their duties. They complete their work with a high quality and correct mechanical problems for very fair and reasonable price without overcharging customers. They found one mechanical issue with my car that was caused by the local Lexus dealer, drove 50 miles to find the part and replaced it for me the same day. I am super happy that I found an honest and reliable mechanic.

A most excellent auto shop. Years ago I was in the neighbor looking at office space for rent, and saw this little hole in the wall auto shop. I had been thinking about changing from the Toyota dealer for my FJ cruiser, and something just felt right, then an elderly couple walked out and I engaged them in conversation about Japanese Car Care. They informed me of their history with the establishment through several family ownership changes and were just a delightful couple with nothing but good words about this shop. I did some looking and indeed found a good history, and locally owned & operated. So I took the chance and have been happily satisfied with results. They are taking good care of my old FJ, I think they are going to get my FJ to a million mile Toyota care deal. Honest, clean, easy going, helpful, priced right, etc etc. just can’t say enough goodness here. It’s always been an excellent experience. Thanks Japanese Car Care workers.

Japanese Car Care gave me a lot of peace of mind about how to proceed with my car. From the moment I called, Susan took the time to go over the process and set my expectations accurately. They were honest and up-front 100% of the time, and went above and beyond to give advice to a girl who really needed it. Would highly recommend.

A friend directed me to JCC when I first moved here w my 2000 Honda Civic, and they kept it running beautifully until it was so old they couldn't get parts for the AC, essential here (!). Now they tend my Subaru Forester and keep it so well tended that it may well outlast me! They run a clean, efficient, and friendly local business, taking time to answer all my many questions in straightforward, easy to understand language. I don't know much about cars, but I do know a lot about people, and I know the crew at JCC can always be trusted to do good, honest work.

I taken my 2010 lexus IS F for a common issue, valley plate leak. Upon taking it & being inspected- they quoted me 1600$. We had a disagreement on the price and I took my vehicle back. Upon getting the issue fixed by another shop - the quality, workmanship, & simple disregard was apparent. This shop had done the job previously and the new shop showed detailed pictures of EVERYTHING that Japanese car care did. Japanese car care didnt remove the old sealant that was originally on there to replace with new sealant. Instead they caked on a layer of black silicone & called it good. Japanese car care didnt even use OEM o-rings for for the rear pipe pump that connects. Instead, they blasted some cheap silicone ground the ring & called it a day. The amount of work that the other shop had to clean, remove, & dig out from the valley plate cover. The quality & care they did to my car (which is a rare vehicle) was apparent. I am already "banned" from their parts (thank god) because of their disregard for my vehicle that is unacceptable by any means. Japanese car care is for simple maintenance. If you have a vehicle that is needing actual engine work that requires skilled craftsmanship, look elsewhere.

I have been having my car serviced at Japanese car care for over 20 years. They always exceed expectations for repairs, explain the necessary repairs and give quotes. Staff are always personable, competent, and the work is done in a timely manner. I am grateful to have a trustworthy mechanic when repairs are necessary.

Excellent service. Also, they're friendly, courteous, and easy to deal with. As I am in my late 70's, those qualities are valued. I've relied on them for all car services for approximately 7 years, and have had 100% good experiences.
