Airport Tire Introduce

Airport Tire, located at 4611 W Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, TN 37814, USA, operates as an "Auto Repair Station" primarily focused on tire sales and services, along with other related automotive repairs. You can reach them by phone at (423) 587-3351 or mobile at +1 423-587-3351. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview based on publicly available customer feedback.

Environment and Customer Experience

The environment and customer experience at Airport Tire, as depicted in the provided reviews, raise significant concerns. Customers describe interactions that are far from satisfactory, indicating a potentially challenging and frustrating experience.

One customer recounts a highly negative experience after paying for an alignment. Despite repeated complaints about the vehicle pulling, the customer received "nothing but excuses." Issues included the staff switching front tires as a supposed fix, the inability to provide proof of alignment due to a "printer down" excuse, and a lack of proper test driving after the service. Furthermore, when the customer expressed frustration, staff allegedly "started laughing," demonstrating a perceived lack of empathy and professionalism. This indicates an environment where customer concerns may not be taken seriously, and where accountability for service quality is questionable.

Another review details a severe safety concern involving a new tire installation. A "new tire was placed" but subsequently went flat rapidly and came off the rim, leading to a dangerous roadside situation on the interstate. This suggests a critical failure in the quality of the product sold or the installation service, directly impacting vehicle safety.

Overall, the customer experience, as painted by these reviews, is characterized by:

  • Lack of Accountability: Excuses are given instead of solutions for service deficiencies.
  • Poor Communication: Essential information (like a broken printer) is withheld, and concerns are not adequately addressed.
  • Safety Concerns: Direct allegations of faulty products and potentially unsafe installation.
  • Unprofessional Demeanor: Staff allegedly laughing at customer frustration, indicating a disregard for customer well-being and satisfaction.
  • Waste of Time and Money: Customers feel their investment was fruitless due to unresolved issues.

This feedback suggests a challenging environment for customers seeking reliable and safe automotive services.

Services and Goods for Sale

As an "Auto Repair Station" with a name like "Airport Tire," their primary services and goods for sale revolve around tires and related automotive work. Based on the customer reviews, their stated or implied offerings include:

  • Tire Sales: Customers explicitly mention purchasing "a new tire," indicating that Airport Tire sells new automotive tires.
  • Tire Installation: The service of placing new tires onto a vehicle's rims is performed.
  • Flat Tire Repair: One review mentions a "flat tire" being replaced, suggesting they handle flat tire issues, either through repair or replacement.
  • Wheel Alignment: Services to adjust the angles of the wheels so they are set to the car manufacturer's specifications are offered and charged for.
  • General Tire Services: This would typically include tire mounting, balancing, and possibly rotation, though specific performance of these is not detailed in the reviews beyond the negative instances.

The reviews primarily focus on the negative outcomes of these specific services, particularly the alignment and new tire installation, rather than a comprehensive list of all potential services. As an "Auto Repair Station," they might also offer other basic automotive services, but the provided information does not detail them.

Features and Operational Aspects

Based on the highly critical customer feedback, several features and operational aspects of Airport Tire come to light:

  • Focus on Tire Services: Their name and the nature of the complaints suggest a primary business in tire sales, installation, and alignment.
  • Questionable Service Quality: The reviews highlight significant issues with the quality of work, particularly concerning wheel alignments that resulted in persistent vehicle pulling and new tire installations that led to immediate and dangerous failures.
  • Poor Diagnostic and Remedial Practices: In one instance, rather than re-performing a faulty alignment, front tires were "switched" as a solution, indicating a potential lack of proper diagnostic and problem-solving protocols.
  • Lack of Documentation and Transparency: The inability or refusal to provide an alignment printout, citing a "printer down" issue, raises questions about transparency and proper record-keeping for services rendered.
  • Deficient Quality Control: The admission "we must have missed it" regarding a test drive after an alignment suggests a lack of robust quality control procedures.
  • Customer Service Deficiencies: The alleged laughing at a frustrated customer indicates a severe deficiency in customer relations and professional conduct.
  • Potential Safety Risks: The most serious concern is the direct link to a potential safety hazard due to a new tire allegedly coming off the rim shortly after installation, putting lives at risk.
Promotional Information

Based on the provided customer reviews, no positive promotional information or specific offers are highlighted for Airport Tire. The customer feedback is entirely negative and serves as a significant deterrent rather than a promotion. Phrases like "Stay away from this shady place," "wouldn’t send my worst enemy here," "complete nonsense and waste of time and money," and "risking people’s lives" indicate a strong negative perception in the community, as expressed by these reviewers.

In the absence of any positive testimonials or advertised deals, the available information does not support any favorable promotional statements. For local users, the existing online sentiment strongly advises caution. Any potential customer would need to conduct their own thorough investigation or visit the location at 4611 W Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, TN 37814, USA, or contact them at (423) 587-3351, with the awareness of the severe concerns raised in these public reviews.

Airport Tire Customer Reviews

Stay away from this shady place. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here, can’t believe they are even open. Paid for an alignment and got nothing but excuses from them on why it pulled when I went to leave. They switched front tires and sent me off when I complained about the pull. No proof the alignment was done except for a screen shot from the monitor that shows it’s not to specifications. Asked for a print out and was told the printer was down. I asked why they didn’t mention that when I dropped it off and was told “well you didn’t ask if the printer worked”. I asked if they test drive after an alignment to see if it pulls. I was told “we must have missed it”. I asked for a refund, they said no. To top off my experience they started laughing when I got upset, they thought my frustration was funny. Complete nonsense and waste of time and money. Stay away from these clowns.

This place sold a flat tire and faulty tire. A new tire was placed on an Acura to replace a regular flat tire. After one day of use the tire had 1 pound of air. The tire was filled up completely and the next day the same tire has a flat and is coming off the rim. This car is currently pulled over in the left side of the interstate because the tire popped off in a second. I would give zero stars if possible because a new tire from this places is risking people’s lives.

Customer service is gone anymore. Someone recommended this place to me and I drove across town to give them my business. Not again. Pulled up to get a flat fixed, I already had it off the vehicle. No one would even acknowledge that I was there. I guess if you're not going to spend $1,000.00 for a set of tires, you're not worth their time. Co-Op will fix you right up. That's where I'm going from now on.

If you have custom wheels don't come here. They can't do them they say and not willing to even look at them
