I first tried the Jeep Defense from Racing Optics a little over a year ago. I was getting chips and cracks as soon as I put in a new windshield. Usually it was within 1 month of getting a new windshield. Even though I have glass coverage on my insurance, it is still a hassle, and so demoralizing. Last year I started using the Jeep Defense film and I have gone over a year with no chips or cracks. This has worked so well that I am putting it on my wife’s Gladiator now. Well not now, but I’ve ordered it so that I can apply it when we replace her windshield that has four cracks in it. By the way, my wife and I installed it ourselves in about 10 minutes. It was super easy.

Not even 24 hours and a crack! We don’t guarantee anything but this has never happened says the company. I can send you a replacement? Why would I in the name of staying sane put another product on my windshield just replaced $500. I didn’t drive the vehicle until I put your product on.

I’ve noticed many rocks hitting my windshield. So far so good. Peeled one layer off and looked new. It’s doing its job. Love it.

So upset shield came with a crease on the drivers edge had to fight with it and never came came off. Film has a dull finish from the inside. Live in Tennessee stone chips are a norm here

For truck drivers. The receiving opens at 10, but they can get you unloaded before if somebody’s here early. Unloaded under 30 minutes.

I've had the Racing Optics film on my 2021 JL Wrangler since it was nearly new with only a few thousand miles; today with nearly 40,000 miles on it I still have my original factory installed windshield. Which is truly amazing; on my previous (JK) wrangler I was having a new windshield installed every 2-6 months due to rock chips/cracks and the Windshield Defense system has kept the glass in the new wrangler intact. I have a buddy with a JL about 3 months older than mind who is on his 5th or 6th windshield so I know it's not just the changes in the model year. I truly believe the product has saved me at least that many replacements in the time I've had it on. And each time you peel a layer it's like having a brand new windshield again. If you're putting in a new windshield, put one of these on to extend it's life, and save yourself money by avoiding future replacements.
