Walmart Auto Care Centers

I put my order for tires in last week with the promise they would be here Monday or Tuesday. It's Wednesday and after talking to them yesterday and them saying the order would likely be here today they have just told me my order doesn't exist. I should've went literally anywhere else at this point.

Said oil change wouldn't take long. Did my shopping , came back, waited an hour and a half, they hadn't even pulled the car in the garage yet. Is it that hard to find good help these days?

I bought a battery from the Walmart auto store in June of 2023. Two days later t he car would not start and we had to jump it. I took it back to the Walmart. They insisted on recharging the battery for two hours although they admitted they could not start the car when I brought it in. We have had t o jump start the car repeatedly. We took it to a repair shop and all all the electrical elements in the car checked. There were no problems and nothing was draining the battery. Today we took it back to Walmart. All they want to do is recharge the battery and not replace the battery. NEVER EVER BUY A BATTERY from WALMART. THEY DO NOT WARRANT THEIR PRODUCTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! The manager suggested that I take it to another auto repair shop and pay another $250.00 and have it run through the electrical systems because he insists it can't possibly be the battery or a weak cell because they can charge it. And they are willing to keep on charging it as long as I have another 2 1/2 years on the warranty, BUT IT CAN"T possibly be a weak cell and they are not going to replace it. Well, it won't hold a charge, so don't tell me it is not the battery.

I purchased a set of rear tires for my vehicle in June and had them installed at the Lancaster Wal Mart location. 5 months later, I began to lose PSI in one of those tires. I called the location to try to schedule a time to bring my vehicle in for both of their convenience and mine. The department refused to make an appointment and said that I can just walk in that they hadn’t been busy all day. I aired up my tires to make the trip to the store. Of course, when I walk in there were four people in line in front of me. I waited. 3 hours later, and after the time that the department closed, I had received no text Updates as promised on the status of my vehicle so I went back to the store anyways. After retrieving my keys from the service desk and getting into my vehicle, it seemed as though nothing had changed- PSI was exactly where I had aired it before arriving at the store. Make the trip home. Next morning- the tire that was supposedly repaired, was back down to 15 psi. I call the store. I informed the person on the other end of the phone what had happened. The phone - with me on the other end- was then sat on the counter for the next nine minutes while I waited to be told that everyone that had worked on my vehicle was at lunch at the same time. Convenient. I was asked to bring the car back in. I said I’ve already had to wait and go through the trouble of bringing my car in there once, that I needed to be able to schedule an appointment to bring it back in. The employee again refused to make an appointment, despite the fact that I had to return to the store solely for the reason that their employees did not do anything with my vehicle when it was there the first time . At this point, I have wasted several hours at this location, and still have a vehicle that I cannot drive because of their negligence at my service appointment.

The worst of all the Walmart auto centers. Would highly recommend going to any other location for tire care. Poorly run and managed across the board (they need a new manager ASAP). Heath location would be my recommendation if you want to use Walmart auto center.
