Valvoline Instant Oil Change

You're associate Jaden as well as his helper was completely out of line that day. Normally his helper is very kind and very sweet Not this day. I don't appreciate being treated like a Criminal by standing and blocking me in simply because I'm used to service being delivered before them asking for payment. Also his helper that actually did the oil change doesn't understand that what he's showing the customer is the line on the oil dipstick he had it dripping with oil and you couldn't tell where the oil level was and when I expressed that to this guy he stated I don't know what you mean this is what we show you and put it back and closed the hood. Well I could have made a big deal about it, I did not I felt that at that point both of these associates lacked professionalism. I am just happy that the manager who was helping me at first was kind he's always kind and kindness goes a long way. Most of the other guys are great I have never had an issue until this day. Maybe they both need some training. Especially if you don't know that the line on the dipstick is where the oil should both start and stop when you bring it to the customer. I am so grateful for the provision to call and speak to the customer care team, they were absolutely amazing! And if I could give them five stars, I would even give them 10! Absolutely wonderful!

No one ever checked the lights, turn signals or brake lights. Although to be fair, they did ask me if I had any issues with my lights.They also did not top off the air in the tires, although I asked if they had and they assured they did. They did not top off the washer fluid either. My tires are supposed to be at 35. When I checked the air pressure on my display afterwards, it showed three at 33 and one at 34. I paid over $100 for this oil change. I expect better service than I received..

I was not told price of cabin air filter. After a quick google. What you charge $59.99 for can be purchased for $12-20. Upon arrival my rear passenger tire was flat. The technician brought a team member over to observe. I asked several times if it was flat. I was told they couldn’t get air into the tire. The oil change continued. I asked again several times if the tire was good and holding air. I was given the thumbs up by the technician and my tire pressure was charted at 35psi on my invoice. After leaving the establishment my tire alert came on. I am now sitting at a NTB waiting to have new tires installed. The manager called me and stated “we are not tire guys”

The employees at the Boardman OH Valvoline are SO courteous and VERY helpful!! The store is always cleaned up and tidy. THEY are the reason that getting an oil change isn't so dreadful. This location is usually very busy, the workers come to the car to give an estimated wait time and this is also quite helpful!! Kudos to the staff for running this location like a "well oiled machine!!"

If I could rate 0 stars I would. I went for a simple oil change and left with several problems on my vehicle. After leaving here my tire light came on and tire was flat on the way home. I had no issues with my tires prior to going to valvoline for service and 30 minutes after leaving my tire is flat? I took my vehicle to a mechanic to get my tire changed and my mechanic showed me my oil stick and it was equivalent to tar and was never changed and all fluids were dry. i paid for a full oil change and nothing was changed and no fluids were topped off. My air vent filters were also completely destroyed from when the employee at valvoline asked if I wanted it changed. They looked completely fine when they were pulled out and I guess he couldn’t figure out how to put it back in and they were completely smushed and forcefully put back in. I paid 80 dollars and waited 2 hours for my oil to not get changed and no fluids were replaced, left with a flat tire, and needed new air vent filters. I will never go back to a service like this.

I went twice and I had the same young man and he was very polite respectfully professional at his job both times I went. He helped me out a lot with helping me find a coupon to use cause I only had a certain amount of money for my oil change. Convinced me to come back the next day for an air filter but I really did need it so because of the great energy he gave the day before I came back. I love going here because the are always courteous and professional here.

Zero stars. Not only did they make me late for a meeting by a half hour, they put grease prints and oil all over my freshly washed and waxed car!!! The hood the defenders the wiper blades and windshield all covered in thick grease! I couldn't come back to have them wipe it off so they gave me 50% off my next oil change. I'm still pissed!
