Valvoline Instant Oil Change

I was due for an oil change and originally wanted to go to my dealer since they are cheaper. A friend notified me that I had two brake lights out (passenger and middle) when was behind me. My dealer charges much more to install bulbs and I just had wrist surgery, so I opted to go to this Valvoline. It is hit or miss what type of crew you get. Anyway, the worker assured me all of the brake lights were working even though I could tell he didn't really look. I asked him a third time. Long story short, I left without brake lights being installed because I was assusred they were working and guess who got a ticket today for my brake lights being out. I am beyond pissed!!! That was my main reason for going there and I got hosed!!!Now I have to pay a ticket and STILL get those brake bulbs installed..Ridiculous!

RUDE! RUDE! YOU broke my car by NOT putting coolant back in my car after a coolant flush. When my car overheated, I pulled into the westlake Ohio location. They informed me that “it was not the first time a customer has said that they were rude!.” They also told me the reason the car overheated was because THEY NeVER put coolant back in the car. Mind you the location that told me this is also a take 5!! Your own brand filled me in that Fairview did NoT put coolant back in the car. It was EMPTY. I quote the worker, “I’m not sure if it was empty but we basically filled it all the way up…”. I have no heat in my car, have left 4-5 complaints with corporate office, called the location to request a district manager call me… we are approaching 2 weeks with no response. Worst experience with any company EVER. I have a claim number already,.. my FaMILY needs a car with heat! It’s WINTER and the fine print says I can’t have this car fixed without speaking to a district manager!! Do not use this location. I was a 5 star rating before this. Sad that two bad employees have ruined my 10+ years of using Take 5. does anyone at Take 5 care? My kid has to wear a snowsuit to take a drive to the grocery store…I’m sure the employees of Take 5 have kids too… would you respond so slowly if it was one of your own ? Let’s go! Help me! The location was sooo rude I do not wish to deal with them. I have a ton of notes and so does your customer service center… take a look. Worst experience of my life.

The main person I spoke too I think Johnathan or whoever is a metal head (we spoke about music), he was very nice, educated on what products should look like vs whats in the car and very personable! Great tech overall!

The crew at the Rocky River, Ohio location (Center Ridge Road) was friendly, courteous and explained everything wonderfully. I would highly recommend that others in my community support this business and expect they would have the same, wonderful experience.
