Quick Lane at Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Introduce

Quick Lane at Eau Claire Ford Lincoln, located at 2909 Lorch Ave, Eau Claire, WI 54701, USA, operates as a specific type of "Auto Repair Station" designed for rapid and routine vehicle maintenance. As part of a larger dealership, it aims to provide convenient services to local users in Eau Claire, WI. You can contact them at (715) 852-1000 or via mobile at +1 715-852-1000. This introduction will provide an objective overview of the environment, services, features, and some promotional information associated with Quick Lane at Eau Claire Ford Lincoln, based on customer reviews from the internet.

The **environment** at Quick Lane at Eau Claire Ford Lincoln is typically characterized by its emphasis on speed and efficiency, common in express service centers associated with dealerships. You can expect a clean, modern facility with dedicated bays for quick services. The waiting area is likely comfortable, possibly with amenities like Wi-Fi or a refreshment area, reflecting its dealership affiliation. The operational environment is designed to handle a high volume of routine maintenance tasks, aiming for minimal wait times. However, the customer reviews shed light on aspects of the service environment that can be problematic. The perceived overcharging and dishonesty in repair recommendations, as well as the lack of transparent communication regarding vehicle issues, create an environment where trust can be eroded. While the physical space might be polished, the interpersonal dynamics, as described by customers, suggest a less positive overall experience for some. The environment, therefore, is one of high-volume service, but with a critical caveat regarding customer confidence in the advice and charges received.

Quick Lane at Eau Claire Ford Lincoln focuses on providing a range of common and express **services** for various vehicle makes and models, not just Ford or Lincoln vehicles. Their primary offerings include **oil changes**, which are designed to be quick and convenient. They also typically perform **tire rotations**, **battery checks and replacements**, **wiper blade replacements**, **light bulb replacements**, and various **fluid checks and top-offs** (e.g., transmission fluid, brake fluid, coolant). As an express service, they usually conduct a **multi-point inspection** of the vehicle, checking key components like brakes, tires, and belts, though the thoroughness and honesty of these inspections are points of contention in customer reviews. Beyond these routine maintenance tasks, they may handle minor repairs such as **muffler repairs**, as one customer sought. However, the significant price discrepancy for a muffler repair, with a quote of "$750" compared to "$150" at another shop, raises concerns about their pricing structure and repair recommendations. The issue with missing bolts for a splash shield after an oil change also indicates potential oversight in their service procedures. While Quick Lane is designed for "light repair," the experiences suggest variability in the execution and integrity of these services.

The **features** that are intended to distinguish Quick Lane at Eau Claire Ford Lincoln, as part of the Quick Lane Tire & Auto Center network, include **speed and convenience**. The entire concept is built around getting customers in and out quickly for routine maintenance without needing an appointment. As part of a dealership, another feature is the potential access to **factory-trained technicians** and genuine OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts, which can be reassuring for some customers. The multi-point inspection is touted as a comprehensive check of the vehicle's health. However, the customer reviews highlight several significant negative features. A major concern is their **pricing structure**, with a quoted hourly rate of "$165 a hr" and a muffler repair quote that was significantly higher than competitors, leading to accusations of trying to "scam" customers. Another critical issue is the **honesty and accuracy of their repair recommendations**. The muffler deemed "unrepairable" by Quick Lane but fixed easily elsewhere, and the claim of "missing some 10 mm bolts" on a splash shield that were not missing previously, severely undermine trust in their assessments. The **lack of effective communication** at checkout about the splash shield issue, and the subsequent implication of blame, is another detrimental feature. The charge for "supposed missing bolts" that could be purchased far cheaper elsewhere further amplifies the perception of being "ripped off." Therefore, while speed is a core feature, it appears to come at the expense of transparent communication, fair pricing, and trustworthy repair recommendations for some customers.

Regarding **promotional information**, Quick Lane at Eau Claire Ford Lincoln, as part of a national brand and a dealership, likely engages in various marketing strategies. They often promote their **convenience** and **speedy service** for routine maintenance, appealing to busy individuals. You might see promotions for **oil change specials**, **tire deals** (as "Quick Lane Tire & Auto Center" implies tire services), or **multi-point inspection packages**. They also leverage their connection to the Ford and Lincoln brands, suggesting that they offer specialized knowledge for those vehicles. Dealership service centers often send out coupons or offer online discounts for various services. However, the customer reviews suggest that the actual execution of these promotions and the overall value can be questionable. For example, while oil changes are promoted for time-saving, the issues encountered undermine this benefit. To inquire about specific current promotions, pricing, or to get quotes for services, potential customers should contact Quick Lane at Eau Claire Ford Lincoln directly at (715) 852-1000 or +1 715-852-1000. Given the strong negative feedback, it is highly advisable for customers to seek second opinions for significant repairs and to thoroughly question any recommendations or charges to ensure fair and honest service.

They charge $165 a hr… Went here to get my muffler fixed, quoted me $750 because it was “unrepairable” two days later got it fixed for $150 at a local auto shop. No problems since then, muffler sounds great. Don’t get scammed out of your money folks 😀

Went and got oil change at Eau Claire quick lanes thinking I would save my self some time. I check out and am told by the employee everything was good with no issues. As I am driving home I smell oil in my car. When I get home I review the check sheet I received. There on the bottom it stated that they took the splash shield off because they stated they were missing some 10 mm bolts. I called them when I read this and they stated that it was there fault for not telling me about it. I ask where were the bolts that had the shield in place and they stated they put them back in the bottom of the car. Keep in mind I changed my oil the time before and none of these bolts were missing. The reason I would go somewhere to get my oil changed it to not have to crawl under the car my self. This lack of communication at checkout and the fact that I have a hard time believing what they are telling me has seriously made me think that this is not the place I will get my oil changed in any of my vehicle or want to do business with this company any more. The cherry on the bottom is they will order the supposed missing bolts for $27.36 and you have to bring it back in. So I order the whole set from Amazon for $8.00. No signs of a rip off here!!!!

I am very disappointed with this location. I purchased a great car from them in 2021’. I bring my car in for oil changes frequently, keep up with all maintenance on my vehicle. Last Thursday is now my last time having them service my vehicle. I had my tires rotated like I do with every oil change. A day later I hear a noise coming from my tire. I was out of town. I had a mechanic near me look at my car. He turned the tire to see the caliber bolt was missing. Not only is this scary but extremely dangerous to drive. I contacted the manager in the quick lane department, she had to speak with the service manager. He definitely needs training on customer service! He does NOT like people and it shows by how he treats customers. I was told they are using this as a learning experience to check before putting tires back on a car. Are you kidding me? I could’ve had an extremely scary accident! I also have a noise coming from that same tire after the bolt has been fixed. I usually have a great service and recommend others as well. Not anymore, I will be taking further action with the BBB. I should not have to pay $215 for a bolt that is no longer in my caliber after having an oil change/tire rotation by quick lane in Eau Claire, WI! DO NOT RISK your safety at this place. They do not care about customers! Only the dollar! Clearly making more problems for customers, so they have to go back. SAD!

Amazing work and service! I showed up, totally unintentionally, on the wrong day and they didn't even mention it, just got it done. Very informative if something comes up that the owner should know about the car. Great work and experience.

I bought a Ford suv from them, after a month, my rear differential started humming at 50-60 mph. We brought back to them for warranty (3 months) and they said they would take care of it. They said it was the torque converter, but they only did a kit replacement (cheap). They took 6 weeks to take care of it. The noise still was there when I got the car back. Came back again, and they said that the warranty was gone, and there was nothing they could do. They probably knew it was the rear differential, but change something else (cheaper) and took a long time to repair, enough for the warranty to go away. The customer service was horrible, like he was doing us a favor, extremely entitled, and treat us poorly. Never coming back, hope they stop cheating on people!
