Horne Mazda Service Center Introduce

The Horne Mazda Service Center, situated at 7777 S Test Dr, Tempe, AZ 85284, USA, operates as a dedicated "Auto Repair Station" specializing in Mazda vehicles. This facility provides a range of services aimed at maintaining and repairing Mazda cars, catering to the needs of local Mazda owners in Tempe and the surrounding areas. Contact can be made via phone at (480) 496-9467 or +1 480-496-9467 for service inquiries and scheduling.

As a service center under the "Auto Repair Stations" category, Horne Mazda Service Center is equipped to perform various types of automotive maintenance and repair. Their primary function is to offer factory-authorized service for Mazda vehicles, ensuring that work is done according to manufacturer specifications and using genuine Mazda parts. This is a key feature for owners who wish to maintain their vehicle's warranty and performance integrity.

The environment at Horne Mazda Service Center, as suggested by customer feedback, aims to be accommodating. One positive review highlights a customer being treated "very well," including being driven to a local diner and picked up when their vehicle service was complete. This indicates a commitment to customer convenience, which is a significant aspect of the service experience in auto repair stations. Such amenities, often including comfortable waiting areas, Wi-Fi, and complimentary beverages, are common in dealerships and aim to enhance the customer's time on-site.

In terms of services, the center offers comprehensive vehicle maintenance. A detailed positive review illustrates the breadth of services provided: "They changed my oil, checked the air filters, rotated my tires, swapped out the transmission fluid, and checked EVERYTHING else on the car. When they were finished, they washed the outside of my car." This suggests a thorough approach to routine maintenance, covering essential fluid changes, tire care, and general vehicle inspections. The complimentary car wash is an added touch that contributes to a positive service experience. Beyond routine maintenance, as an authorized service center, they would also handle more complex repairs, diagnostic services, and warranty work specific to Mazda vehicles, utilizing factory-trained technicians and specialized equipment.

Key features of the Horne Mazda Service Center include their focus on genuine Mazda parts, which are designed to fit perfectly and ensure the longevity and performance of Mazda vehicles. The presence of certified technicians, trained specifically on Mazda models, is also a crucial feature, ensuring that repairs and maintenance are performed by knowledgeable professionals. The offer of shuttle service for customer convenience, as evidenced by the ride to a local diner, indicates a commitment to customer care. Many such facilities also provide amenities like a comfortable waiting lounge, often with Wi-Fi, television, and refreshments, to make the waiting period more pleasant for customers.

However, an objective introduction requires incorporating all available customer feedback. While some experiences are highly positive, other reviews present areas where the service center has faced criticism. One customer reported that technicians "got motor oil on my seats and arm rests," which, while quickly cleaned, led to a simple service taking two hours. More significantly, this customer noted that "multiple screws/clips were missing from my plastic skid plate after the service, causing the skid plate to make noise over bumps." This issue escalated over time, resulting in the skid plate making contact on the freeway and requiring the customer to pay $150 out of pocket for replacement parts and fasteners, leading to a lowered overall rating. This feedback highlights potential inconsistencies in the quality of work and attention to detail, which are critical for an auto repair station.

Regarding promotional information, specific current promotions for Horne Mazda Service Center are not detailed in the provided information. However, typical promotions for an "Auto Repair Station" of this nature, especially a dealership service center, often include: special pricing on routine maintenance services like oil changes and tire rotations, discounts on genuine Mazda parts and accessories, seasonal service specials (e.g., for summer or winter car preparation), and potentially loyalty programs or package deals for multiple services. Dealerships may also advertise manufacturer-backed rebates on certain parts or services, or offer financing options for larger repairs. Customers are usually encouraged to visit the service center's official website or call directly for the most up-to-date promotional offers.

In conclusion, Horne Mazda Service Center in Tempe, AZ, functions as an authorized "Auto Repair Station" dedicated to Mazda vehicles. It provides a range of services from routine maintenance to more intricate repairs, with a focus on using genuine parts and employing certified technicians. While the center aims to offer a comfortable environment and convenient services like shuttle transportation, customer experiences indicate a mixed record, with some highlighting excellent service and others pointing to issues with quality control and attention to detail. Prospective customers should weigh these factors when considering Horne Mazda Service Center for their automotive needs.

Horne Mazda Service Center Customer Reviews

I brought my car in for the second maintenance today. The staff at Horne Mazda treated me very well. They had me driven to the Black Bear Diner & picked up & brought back to the dealership. They did an excellent job on my car. They changed my oil, checked the air filters, rotated my tires, sawpped out the transmission fluid, and checked EVERYTHING else on the car. When they were finished, they washed the outside of my car. Excellent!

Brought my 2018 Mazda 6 here for service. The technicians got motor oil on my seats and arm rests. They were quick to clean my interior but a simple service took two hours. I decided to leave this review because multiple screws/clips were missing from my plastic skid plate after the service, causing the skid plate to make noise over bumps. I would not recommend this dealership. **Update** 4 months later the skid plate made contact on the freeway and had to pull over to remove. Cost me 150 dollars to replace the part and missing fasteners, all out of pocket. Lowering my review to 1 star.

Jack at the parts department in Mazda was just top notch service - exactly how it should be. Walked me through why my liquid SKUs were not accurate and/or superseded with another part. Not the cheapest part place but that’s a general mazda problem, not a service or parts center.

Took my 2024 CX-5 in for its first oil change about a month ago. Had scheduled the appointment for a Saturday at 2:30 on their website, which still lists their hours as being open until 3:30 on Saturdays. Guy at the front desk tried telling me they had called and changed my appointment to earlier because they actually close at 2:30. Ultimately the service techs agreed to complete the service and everyone else was very professional and friendly, but the service desk guy again wanted me to rush back to pick up the car because "they closed at 2:30." I arrived back at the service desk ASAP but he had just taken my key to the front desk, which the front desk rep thought must have meant they weren't expecting me until much later. Overall service was quick and professional, but they either need to update their hours online or give at least the one rep coaching.

I was initially called to make an appointment to take my car in for service and was quoted a price of $49.99. Two days later, I received another call and was told the price had changed to $59.95. When my husband took the car for service on Tuesday, October 8th, he was told the price was $99.99. He explained that I had spoken with the service department and was quoted $59.95, so they agreed to that price. After a few additional parts were replaced, he was given the receipt and informed that the car couldn’t be washed due to a water issue or something similar. When I called today,October 9th, to follow up, the person who answered was rude right from the start, likely because I am not a native English speaker. He gave me a humiliating example to explain the pricing changes. I told him that I understood what he was saying and that I am educated enough to comprehend his statement, but that he couldn’t treat us that way because of our nationality. While I was speaking, he kept trying to interrupt, and when I said 'I’m still talking,' he said he couldn’t be spoken to like that and then hung up on me. I have filed a complaint with Mazda US, and I will never return to that place. This experience was very humiliating and disappointing.
