Costco Tire Center

Both times I have used the tire center there have been issues the first time they "forgot" to add air to the tires. The second time they sold me defective tires. UPDATE - Turns out they added 10 and 23 weights to wheels on the right side and there are only 0,4 on the left side. I am not an expert but this seems like the source of the vibration. Final Update - After 5 trips they identified that they put on 2 defective tires. Problem is I had to get a different brand and ended up paying an extra 120 dollars to not get the tires I wanted and wasting 20 hours of time between all the trips. I will not be back to this location for tires and don't recommend anyone but from them

I worked with Kyle today in the tire center, and it was a great experience. He was patient even though I changed the decision on what tires we were using halfway through the process. He was professional, honest and very easy to work with. I appreciate him and look forward to working with, the Costco tire center in the future because of him

love Costco... But their tire center is not good... We bought tires for my wife's truck there and she has complained about the time it takes to get her tires rotated - being a good husband, I kind of ignored or discounted what she was saying - I could not believe that it actually took a hour to 2 hours for a rotation. But, this is my experience, we scheduled her tires rotation for 5 and my new tire installation for 5:30 figuring that her truck would be done and we could use to to drive to dinner. That is not how it worked out - her rotation took until 6:30. My new tires took 5:30 until 7:15 (they said less than 90 minutes). When we got into the wife's truck all the tire pressures were different almost 10 PSI from high to low - when we pointed it out the manager was rude - I think Costco is a great place to buy a gallon of mustard but my experience says that tires should be left up to professionals and their staff is clearly not professionals... There are a lot of tire places that can get a rotation done more time efficiently and 2 hours to get tires changed is ridiculous...

Stopped by on Sat. Asked to setup an appointment before 1p but nothing mon-wed fit my schedule. Only do appointments 12p and later. Called Thursday no appointments for the rest of the week but guy told me I could walk in anytime (nice to learn this information). I did a walk-in at 4:30p on Friday. Was told then that I could have done a walkin 10a-12p any weekday. Good to know now as I did not even think about walk-ins happening prior to appointment times. I had an estimated 2.5hr wait. Turned out to be 3hrs and all my rims looked like picture (covered in soap). So after requested they clean them. 3.5hrs to change tires. Would not change tires here again. Edited 8/14/18 to add After writing this review husband pointed out that I needed to go back because my tires were not balanced. I didn't notice the shaking but he did. He does minor car maintenance and pays attention to that sort of thing. I called Costco Monday morning. Requested a manager and explained about the shake. I setup an appointment, ironically for Friday evening at 4pm. When I arrived Friday checkin was smoother. Probably because I complained. Let me explain. First visit above I parked close to service doors. Left kids in car (I could still see them). Asked tect if I could checkin at door as I knew it would be a long wait and I did not want to wake my toddler. Nope had to go inside. So I grabbed kids and checked in inside. They asked me to put a number on top my car so i dragged kids back to car. They did not take the van into the bay for over an hour so toddler could have utilized that time. This appointment I didn't bother asking. I woke the toddler and headed inside to check in. I refused to drag us all back out to place the number as I again parked by doors. I was told even with an appointment it would be a 1.5hr wait time. So we went shopping. Half way through the store I did a phone call that they would charge me $26 if they determined my tires were not out of balance. So $26 just to look at my tires. Okay that makes sense if I was smo Joe off the street but not if I just had tires installed and my car is shaking. So that's what I said to them (in a pissy voice but hey my 3yo was requesting samples and come on its obvious why my appointment was taking so long.) The manager finally agreed to look at it without charging me. When I was done shopping. I checked in and all the workers were being extra nice to me. Strange. The man who checked me out said my tires were out of balance, way out. I'm assuming they were never balanced during first appointment. The manager walked by without a word though. Then my van was special delivered to the front door for me. Again weird. They weren't that nice when they wanted to charge me extra to check their install "because I brought my own tires". What bothers me the most is I did not know my tires were out of balance. I am the stereotypical clueless customer. I would have ruined my brand new tires in a year if not for my husband and fighting tooth and nail throughout this process. I love Costco but I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE TIRE CENTER. Tires are not a good deal if they are not properly balanced when installed.

Phenomenal experience at the Polaris Costco Tire Center. I received top-notch service from Nick, Nate, and the entire crew. I highly recommend to others and plan to be a returning customer.
