Costco Tire Center Customer Reviews

I'm sitting here an hour past my appointment in the dining area completely dumbfounded on the way I was just treated by the Costco Tire Center. Hint: do not order online. Their online system does a poor job of communicating to the customers, offering them appointments before their tires even show up. Which is what happened to yours truly. I was passed back and forth between two employees, neither of them could figure it out. They requested help from the manager. The "manager" BJ is an absolute joke. Was rude to me right off the rip. I asked to speak to his supervisor because I was very confused on the fact that, they had more than enough of the tires that I requested in stock, but since I ordered my tires off the costco website, they had to get shipped to the costco tire center. The supervisor comes out, says the only way they can give me tires today is if I pay for the tires they have in stock and hopefully I can get refunded from the online order that I placed a week ago. Meanwhile, BJ continued to argue with me until a kind employee got a higher up where they finally intervened and handled the situation. BJ got banished to the back of the shop by the way by the higher up. He didn't even completely listen to that directive, kept coming in and out into the lobby area. Making me feel VERY uncomfortable. Costco, train your "managers" on customer service because he needs it. The only reason this does not have one star is because a kind employee got someone who finally treated me with respect and got me my tires.

I had an amazing experience with the tire center! I had originally come to put air in my tires because I got the notification on my dashboard. When I went around to look, it ended up being pretty flat, likely punctured after I hit a curb earlier in the week. Josh worked very diligently with me to get a new tire for an amazing price and I was so very thankful, especially given it was an emergency situation and I didn’t have an appointment. He gave me a lot of options and helped me choose the right one to go with for my financial situation! Very grateful for all of Josh’s help!

They did not complete the job that they set out to do on my car. They said they could not fix the puncture in my tire, so they had me order a $300 tire from them. They took a long time to put it on, and then when they came out, they said they couldn’t get the spare tire back in so we would just have to deal with the spare tire sticking out. They did not finish the job, but I had to pay for the job. Next time, I will not take my car here. I should’ve read the other reviews first which stated, do not take your car here unless you’ve purchased their tires. Lesson learned. But hopefully others will read the reviews first. Also, The lady working there was extremely unfriendly. Overall not a pleasant experience.

Bought 4 new tires there in February 2023, and they offered free tire rotation after so many miles. Sounds like a good deal, right? Well, in December 2023, I went back for the tire rotation, and when I got my car back, one of the low tire pressure sensors in my car had been broken. The low tire pressure indicator on my dashboard now blinks when I turn the car on, so it always appears as though one of my tires is low. This was not happening when I dropped my car off When I brought this to the managers attention, I was basically told “Oh well, those break all the time. It wasn't our fault but we’ll replace it for $70”. Of course this answer was not acceptable, so I went back another day and spoke with a different manager. Got the same answer! These people obviously do not care about their customers. This issue could have easily been resolved by them, and should have been since the damage obviously occurred while my car was in their care. Instead, they have lost my business, and I strongly suggest that you all take your cars elsewhere.

Last week my membership paid for itself. A new battery for my car cost over $200. I found it at Costco for $90. Just 2 months ago I put brand new Michelin tires on my car. They're efficient friendly and the price is right

Had 4 tires placed on my Tesla Model 3 about 5-6 months ago and all went very well. Went to drive this morning and my tire was flat as a pancake. Thankfully I live close enough that I was able to crawl my vehicle to the tire center. I did not have an appointment and the store and tire center were both crazy busy. All the associates were kind and professional, given how busy they were, this was appreciated and kind of unexpected in todays world. I was able to get a same day appointment and repair/new tire all completed within 90 minutes. It cost me only 40 bucks due to the warranty. Could not have asked for a better experience and very grateful that I made the original decision to go to Costco for my new tires.
