Christian Brothers Automotive Albuquerque-Ventura Customer Reviews

This was my first time at this establishment as I'm new in the area. I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome by Greg. Personable and personalized customer service. I enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere and the inspirational music. I am pleased in the service that was performed and the thorough free inspection which detected I needed an engine air filter. High five and kudos to Greg he is wonderful friendly, professional and conversational while providing excellent customer service. I will definitely be back.

A Call to Christian Brothers: Fix Your Policy, Fairness First Christian Brothers, I’m calling you out on a practice that isn’t just frustrating—it’s flat-out wrong. Refusing to service my car simply because I sourced my own part at a lower price than the one you were offering is not only bad business, it’s an unfair way to treat your customers. Let’s start with the basics. We all know car repairs can be expensive, and that’s why many of us do the responsible thing: we shop around for parts, compare prices, and try to get the best deal possible. It’s not about cutting corners—it’s about being financially prudent. So when I found the same part you were offering for a fraction of the price elsewhere, I thought I was doing my homework and saving money. But instead of helping me with the repair, you rejected my business entirely, just because I didn’t want to pay your inflated price for the part. Here’s where you’ve gone wrong: there’s absolutely no reason to refuse service to a customer who’s simply trying to save a few bucks. Mechanics aren’t just in the parts business; you’re in the service business. Your job is to repair cars, not force customers into overpaying for parts. You could still perform the labor, provide your expertise, and complete the repair, regardless of where the part came from. And guess what? Many other shops do exactly that, without any issues. Sure, some shops use the excuse of a warranty to justify their refusal to work with customer-supplied parts, but I’m a grown-up who knows how to make an informed decision. I’m willing to waive any warranty coverage if that’s what it takes to save money. That should be my choice—not a reason for you to refuse service. Your refusal isn’t about protecting me as a customer, it’s about protecting your inflated profit margins at my expense. This isn’t just bad for the customer—it’s bad for you too. When you turn away customers who are trying to save money and instead force them into paying excessive prices for parts, you risk losing their trust and loyalty. Word travels fast, and people won’t forget that you took advantage of them when they were just trying to make a smart financial decision. Christian Brothers, you have an opportunity to fix this. Start by respecting your customers' choices when it comes to sourcing parts. Let them bring in their own, and focus on what you’re truly good at: the repair work. The bottom line is that no one should be forced to pay more than they have to just to keep their car on the road. You’ve built a brand around trust and customer care—don’t let a bad policy tarnish that reputation. It’s time for a change. Let’s put fairness first and give customers the service they deserve, without the unnecessary price gouging.

Christian Brothers were super helpful and quick to get me in on short notice. I moved here from KC and my friend recommended them. They were able to update me and my dad who lives out of state on the status of my car. They’re straight forward and have reasonable prices. I 100% will be using them again and would recommend them to others.

I went in for a 65,000 mile oil change and tire rotation. Included was a complimentary general inspection. The car was ready within an hour, coupons received in the mail were used to reduce the overall cost and then the tech reviewed my inspection. Using a computer screen they showed me pictures of numerous systems that were inspected- brake linings, battery terminals, shocks, struts, air filter - in all about a dozen pics of the car - all inspected and none requiring service or replacement ! I have never had a dealer or independent shop do that. That and friendly faces as well. This is an excellent shop and I recommend them and will use them again in the future.

Exceptional customer service! I came in needing a quick EVAP sensor replacement and was in a rush. Not only did they handle it right away, but the whole process was quick and seamless. They even went the extra mile by offering to drop me off at home and pick me up when my vehicle was ready. They took the time to ensure everything was running perfectly before returning the car to me. On top of that, their prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!
