Caliber Collision

I got my car just about a month and a half before being involved in an accident where I was not at fault. The other driver hit the back right side of my car, damaging the door and tire. My service advisor at Caliber Collision was Alex Leonard. Initially, Alex seemed helpful and attentive, especially when I expressed concerns about the damaged tire and the need for it to be replaced. He mentioned that the insurance company wasn’t going to replace it but assured me he’d try to push for it. After receiving the repair estimate, I called Alex to clarify what was being fixed and asked about the tire again. He said it didn’t appear significantly damaged—just a few scratches—and that they’d send it to Tristate Wheel Repair to make it “look brand new.” Caliber had my car for over a month, and when I was notified it was ready for pickup, I was eager to get it back. However, upon arrival, I immediately noticed that the tire still had significant damage. A large chunk of rubber was missing, wires were exposed, and scratches were still visible. It was clear no meaningful repair had been done to the tire. Additionally, a plastic floor piece inside the car was loose, creating an unsightly gap. When I raised these concerns with Alex, his attitude came off as dismissive and unprofessional. He seemed impatient and gave off a “it’s good enough” vibe, which left me feeling rushed while inspecting the repairs. After some back and forth, Alex begrudgingly agreed to send photos to the insurance company again to see if the tire replacement could be approved. Later that day, I returned with my family to show them the car, and this time we were assisted by Patrick Grooms. Patrick’s customer service was amazing, and he was extremely polite, attentive, and proactive. He even gave us helpful advice on how to approach the insurance company in case they denied the tire replacement again. Ultimately, the tire replacement was approved by the insurance, but since my car is all-wheel drive, I opted to replace all four tires elsewhere at my own expense. When I returned to pick up the car for the final time, Patrick assisted us again. We pointed out a concern with the back right door being slightly misaligned. He immediately agreed that the back door was slightly misaligned, leaving a small gap that could potentially cause sealing issues. Even though it was a relatively minor issue, Patrick didn’t hesitate. He took the car to the garage and had the alignment fixed in under 10 minutes. In the end, I’m happy to have my car back, and the repairs look good overall. While my experience with Alex was disappointing, Patrick’s outstanding professionalism and attention to detail had a significant impact and turned my experience around. Thank you, Patrick, for your exceptional service, kindness, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile—it truly made a difference!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After a recent accident in my truck, Alex and Chuck went above and beyond to recondition my "Cheryl". This truck is a member of the family and I appreciate the expert care and repair on my 15+ year old lady!!!! Estimated 2 weeks for repair, got me back together FAST!! *Truck looked totaled. The passenger fender, both doors, new mirror, cab repair, and paint after a freeway speed sideswipe.

Got some help today from the guys at this location with my license plate. Had some bolts that broke and needed to be drilled out and replaced. They were able to take me as a walk in, were extremely pleasant, and able to fix up my car within an hour for no charge. I really appreciated their professionalism and willingness to help!

I had a great experience after someone ran a red light and severely damaged my car. The rep I worked with at Caliber, Weston, was great about communicating the process to me and providing regular status updates. I really appreciated the weekly calls to let me know status and when to expect to get my car back. The car looks great and I was surprised to learn that they parts/repairs are guaranteed for as long as I own the car. Hopefully, I never need to use Caliber again but, if I do, wouldn't hesitate to go back!
