Byers Ford Service Center

I went back to this shop a couple weeks after my original inspection and work and this time really soured me on the place. Perhaps naïvely, I expressed that I had an active warranty this time around and hoped my issue could be resolved for no more than my deductible. Lo and behold the ONE service they recommended and pushed hard for was a battery replacement, a maintenance item which, of course, is not covered (and was checked in my initial inspection from this place less than a month ago). The problem is that in all of the back and forth, no one told me the techs could not replicate my original issue until I came in to pay AFTER the work was done and I would owe for it regardless. I had asked whether part of my issue was resolved and followed up that it was not, and as of now, no one has reached out to me. Why would they - they already got my money. I thought I could trust this place after my first visit, but as far as I'm concerned they ruined that for a lousy $150 (price of the battery/installation above my warranty's deductible). I will say the battery replacement/installation itself was priced fairly and completed quickly. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I had a used car I bought (from another dealer) have an inspection to qualify for a Ford Protect warranty. Tiffany, who I mainly worked with, was very pleasant, got my car in and out the same day we discussed, and the price for the inspection and the couple of things I needed done to pass was fair. I purchased a new vehicle from Byers Ford recently and the service is received was outstanding. Keaton Stokes assisted me with my purchase and was not pushy. My new vehicle was delivered fast and paperwork was completed in record timing. The finance manager, Bill Thorpe, was very knowledgeable and patient with me. He did not pressure me into buying extra packages and made sure everything was correct and to my liking before we proceeded. The additional staff were very nice and the environment was very relaxed yet professional. I would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking to buy a new car.

Recently, I had the "privilege" of needing all three of my Ford cars repaired at the same time. In the course of all of my car repairs I have worked with each one of the four service advisors, mostly with Sly and Carson. Across the board, the folks at Byers have given me unparalleled service and attention. 10s across the board to all questions asked below. I also bumped into Greg who proceeded to give me a tour of the whole facility and chat about his service philosophy which is outstanding. My positive experiences with the folks in the back of Byers have led me to decide that they will get my exclusive business from now on. Please forward this message up the chain to corporate Ford as high as it will go.

Very loyal to this place for last 5 years for my edge and expedition, service always was prompt and seemed honest, today was quoted $800 to replace this electrical part for adjusting the seat that I was able to successfully swap out for $20 in 5 minutes. Was told the entire seat needed to be taken out and that would be a 2.4 hour process. Sorry to say but this broke the trust today.

When I called I talked to a human at the dealer and not an answering service, I really appreciated that. Don’t ever outsource your customer service.
