BMW of Carlsbad Service Center

David Alvarado was my service writer. He had excellent customer service, offered me refreshments, gave me fast updates on my vehicle throughout its time there and made sure I was able to get a loaner car. Kevin Chan was my shop Forman and he was just as exceptional! He came over and introduced himself; as well as, gave me a run down on what they would be doing with my vehicle. He was professional, kind and best of all knowledgeable. I left BMW feeling like I left my car with knowledgeable people who I could trust. Those two individuals are the reason I will come back and use BMW’s service center.

Dropoff went fine, except the representative asked me if I'd like the dealership to wash and vacuum my car and I said yes--but upon pickup, I immediately noticed that they hadn't vacuumed it. Additionally, the representative told me that my car would be ready for pickup the same day, but it wasn't--and that was fine, except he didn't call me to give me any updates at all the entire next day. Then at pickup, I couldn't get anybody to help me--a service representative looked me straight in the face, and when I started to talk, he walked away. I then asked a retail parts representative if somebody could help me, and she wasn't very friendly in her response.

I came in for a "starter recall" situation. Turns out it's a software update... Anyway, my assigned service advisor was running behind so I was transferred to another one. Luckily, they have loaner vehicles again... that said, my substitute advisor handed me a key and pointed in the general area of the lot and said it's a X3 parked out there. I used the key to find the vehicle and it was filthy dirty, parked on top of the adjacent vehicle (almost had to climb through the sunroof to get in) and it had 60 miles of gas in it... I tracked my vehicle through the My BMW app and I could tell the vehicle was finished around 11:30am since it hadn't moved since that time. I texted the service advisor a couple of times to get an ETA on the completion. No response. I finally got a call at 4:15pm telling me it was done and that they close at 6pm and open back up at 7:30am the next day. A little bit of a pet peeve with this dealership/service department over time: If I am bringing in a X5 or X7, don't give me a 3 series as a loaner...

I have been coming to this dealership for 10 years. My service representative is Arthur and he is the absolute best !!! It's great when you feel and know that you are valued as a person and client!!! Arthur is a prime example of exceptional customer service and I am so thankful that he returned back to work full-time !!!!

As always, the team at BMW Carlsbad took care of my car as if it were their own. Brian Chartier is the only service advisor I trust with my late model M3. For context, I drive by two other BMW dealerships to get to Carlsbad because Brian is there… it’s worth the trip to find someone who speaks ///M.

I had a great experience with my last service call at Carlsbad BMW. All was done in a timely manner with my car coming back in tip top shape. My advisor Arthur Alvarez was very professional and did a great job getting the job done with an impeccably clean car back to me. I was very happy with this experience. Thank you very much!

Good place to bring your BMW. It is a bit crowded so I had to wait for a service advisor and although I had booked a loaner there were none available. However a shuttle service was setup and I was lucky I did not need a car since I was working from my home office that day. The service manager and personal were friendly and attentive and the service was done to specs and my questions answered. I will likely go there again but confirm with a call (rather than rely on the online booking) that I have mobility if I need it.

I came in to have a detail service done on my vehicle. It wasn’t until I picked up my vehicle that a necklace that I thought was long gone was there in my cup holder. The detail crew found my necklace, which I never could find, so right there tells you how much they get down into the all the crevices. The honesty of detail staff to return this to me is beyond words. I will not go anywhere else but to BMW Carlsbad

From Matt my salesman to Tom the Sales Manager to Christine my service advisor, BMW of Carlsbad has been the best and most successful customer experience I’ve ever had in the automotive industry. This place makes me feel important and like family. I’ve leased 3 cars in 14 months and will be a BMW driver for life.
