Absolutely the worst of the worst in sales and service. I bought my certified pre-owned vehicle in Jan 2024. The bumper has been peeling paint for months. Ive called and spoke with 2 managers and they are NO longer there. I also took my car to the service dept to have them take a look and they kept my car for about a week, I assumed they were repainting the bumper, that did NOT happen. The guy called to get back the loaner they gave me to drive, it wasn't because they were done with my car. Nothing was done, not even the oil change i requested. The vehicle had a chipped front windshield that was also supposed to get fixed. I should of never taken delivery of that car until that was done. I signed a due bill and, guess what, its not in the deal packet. I will never do business with Autonation again! Ive also taken about a week to write this review hoping they would figure this out but , NOTHING!

Ian and Fred made this car buying experience so easy. I would NOT go back just because of the sales department. The sales rep was their ONLY saving grace. The sales rep was fantastic. We absolutely loved his customer service, attention to detail, and the fact that he fought for us to get the best deal possible. I would love to give separate reviews because he deserves better than a two. What made this experience a two was the financial department. As soon as the sales rep walked away after we were told we were going to get about a 5% APR, the man from finance walked up to us and told us "good news! We were able to get you guys a new deal through Chase" then the APR more than doubled when BOTH our credit is above 720. They also told us, I didn't make enough money so my husband would need to cosign, but "don't worry, it's not going to be a hard credit check on him" (it in fact WAS a hard credit check on him) I fought to get financed through Mazda but because we didn't have an actual address yet (PO Box and JUST moved to California from overseas so of course I don't blame them, it just didn't help with everything else) and we fought to get the loyalty rebate but because my old Mazda was a Japanese version, I didn't qualify. My WHOLE FAMILY also owns Mazda's CURRENTLY but that doesn't count because they're in Washington, not California. Then, when the deal was almost done, they tried to offer us a package for 2k more that SHOULD be included in the warranty anyways so it was a big no from us. He also said that "with Chase, your credit is going to go *insert a whistle that pitch got higher as both hands gave a 👍*" and he said that it is HIGHLY unlikely that our bank would beat this APR (our bank offered us half of the new APR) The financial department gentleman then gave us PART of our contact which made it more difficult for us to get our bank to offer us a better APR and then gaslit the sales rep and us "I printed their's out, they have the right one." (We heard him in the background of the phone call with sales) He also seemed like he didn't know what he was doing when we came back with a check from the bank and only my name was on the loan from the bank (so obviously my husband was not required to be a cosigner if the bank was able to give me a car loan for the exact amount of the car and they did a hard credit check for no reason on him) but I get it, we I only know what we know, but I feel like it was all part of the antics of buying a car.

I love Madza service-they make it so easy and quick. Bougie waiting room with coffee and water and plenty of seating. My advisor Colin is the best-offered me a rental for the few hours my car was going to be in the shop. He texted with follow ups and sent videos of the services being done. Can’t recommend highly enough!

The service people were great. The time waiting was not bad. I had a navigation chip installed. It would have been nice if someone had shown me how to use it. Otherwise, great service!

Fred from Mazda Carlsbad was so helpful and made the experience seamless when trading in my vehicle for a newer model. He was efficient in generating paperwork, thoroughly explained the cost breakdown with supporting documents, and took the time to show me all of the additional features in my new vehicle like setting up my Apple CarPlay. He also got the car extra nice and clean and added a bow for a nice touch! He went above and beyond and I was more than satisfied with his customer service.

I recently brought my Mazda CX-5 in for its 35k service and was very pleased with the experience. The entire process was friendly, informative, and efficient. I especially appreciated the multipoint inspection video, which gave me a clear understanding of my vehicle’s condition. Alex was fantastic—knowledgeable, professional, and approachable. My car was ready in under two hours, just as promised. Great service all around!

Outstanding service! Collin helped me the second I drove into the service bay. I live out of town and needed work done on my 6. It turned out there were other complications and they needed to be attended to. I have 140k on it and know it needed some work. Quick work at a reasonable price!
