Wayne Parkers Auto Electric Customer Reviews

The woman answering the phone was very rude and condescending. I could not afford the work at this time and she said you will schedule the work now or we will send the part back. I told her I did not have the money and she said " don't call us when you car won't start" and hung up on me.

I've been taking my car here for years, and I wouldn't trust anyone else in town w my car. Russ and his team are the most honest people in the auto business. I bring my car in for regular service or any time I have a special need, and I'm never given the run around with additional services that aren't needed. I recommend this shop to all my friends and family. I also love walking in and being greeted by the puppies, and Heidi with her lovely smile and friendly banter.

I've been taking my family cars to Russ for years. Always super fast and reliable, slot of times same day service. I've recommended a lot of friends over the years and he has saved them lots of money. An honest mechanic is money in the bank!

They are amazing! Amazing customer service. Russ is the McGyver of auto repair. I went to them originally because I got a few quotes for a repair well over 1000 dollars each. He fixed the unit itself for about $350 instead. That was years ago it’s still going strong. I drive older cars. (I hate a car payment. ) They have always gotten to my car quickly and fixed it quickly. I trust them completely. Paying for car repairs is not fun but I know I’m getting it done for the minimum reasonable price with generations of experience. They are a personable Mom and Pop shop. That’s been in business well over 50 years. That speaks for itself.

My husband made a previous review of this place (see post by Edwin Skalla for more details). They responded to his honest review by lying. After having my brakes replaced, I called them reporting a noise and asking if it was normal. I was told to bring it in and they would check it out. We agreed upon a day and time. I showed up on the agreed upon day and time, and they said they were busy because they hadn't their mechanics go home early the day before due to the heat wave. They said they might be able to check my car that day or I might need to leave it overnight. I elected to come by another day. The following day, they called me in the morning to see if I was stopping by. I had to reschedule due to sports conflicts with my kids, so we arranged for me to bring it by that Friday morning. I called early Friday morning to double-check that it was still a good time to bring my car in, and they said yes. So I brought it in. In their response to my husband's review, they said I stopped by unannounced, which is a blatant lie. This makes me nervous for the work that was done on my car in the first place, as this does not establish them as trustworthy people. I was perfectly polite to them. Perfectly respectful of their time. Chose to not inconvenience them even when we already had a scheduled time for me to drop my car off. And then they lie in a public review. This place was recommended to me by a trusted friend who had taken her car there for years. She has since stopped taking her car there as well due to change in ownership and having unpleasant conversations and dealings with the new owners. I had seen the negative reviews and read the owners' responses. I chose to ignore them and focus on the good, which was a mistake. They will no doubt have a snarky and unprofessional response to my review, so buckle up for that one. I have no issue with the work they did. I have an issue with their lying and lack of professionalism. Steer clear of this place. There are better options out there.
