Walmart Auto Care Centers

Said they were running behind, ok np I get it. Said they would text when they started work on vehicle, and text again when finished. Never received any text. Ended up scanning barcode they gave me to find out 2 hrs later my car was being serviced and another 1/2 hr later to find out it was finished. No call no text at all throughout the process. If I hadn't have looked online and scanned the bar code who knows how long I would have waited. A noon appt that was supposed to take an hour turned into me picking up my car 3+ hrs later. I was getting tires and because walmart doesn't do alignments I had an appointment scheduled right after to get alignment done. Thankfully and gracefully the place doing the alignment knows that walmart is inept and they fitted me in to their schedule to get my alignment done over an hour after my initial appointment. Left scuffs, rubber debris, grease and dirt all over my rims that should have been cleaned off after the tire replacement. Picking up vehicle was a hassle, waited 20 mins in auto service department with absolutely no one around. Asked someone for help, only for a manager to come down walk into the service center into the service garage then leave and never address us. When someone finally did come into the area he was rude and abrasive. The woman before me asked about an oil change he responded with "absolutely not, not today" she then asked if she could schedule one he told her "do it online" and turned away from her. When asked if I was picking up xxxxxx vehicle and I Said no, and stated which vehicle I was there to get, keys were thrown on the counter. I was never asked to provide the barcode given to me at the drop off of the vehicle, how do you know I was picking up the right vehicle? Over all horrible customer service, good thing we got a great black Friday deal on the tires or this entire thing would have been a wash. Price on tires +5; customer service -100 Do better. Will NOT recommend.

Went to buy 2 tires, dropped off my rims was told it wasn't an issue. I get a call 25 minutes before they close the auto center to be told they had dismounted my old tires and wouldn't put the size tire I wanted on my rims ,then refused to sell me the tires I wanted. The Employee named "GATOR" is a worthless hillbilly that likes to insult customers and call them names, I hear I am not the only one who won't go back as long as he's employed there.

Appointment for 11 am. Checked in, waited an hour, asked for status of my vehicle, which hadn't even been taken into a bay yet. Guy at counter said I was next, 5 minutes. He lied. My car wasn't taken in until almost 2 o'clock. Three and a half hours to get 2 tires put on. I overheard one of the other guys at the counter say they were THREE hours behind with appointments. Customers checking in deserve to know this so they have the option to reschedule, not be strung along, being told you're next. The guys working the counter need to learn better communication skills because being up front with people checking in would have saved them dealing with the irate customers I heard all day. No complaints with the guys who worked on my car.

I bought tires a few months ago and had them installed at walmart and got the road hazard. I got a screw in one and went in 1/28/24 to have the tire repaired. There was 2 guys standing around taliking, i told them what i was there for and i was told theres only 2 of them here today and they were told to only service appointments. Now there were no cars in the parking lot by the auto center and there were no cars in the garage. I said "its a 10 min job, you can't plug it"? They said NO, but you can go to Ashtabula or Chardon and they can probably it. Fine ill do it myself and they pointed me in the direction of the tire repair section. I wandered around the store for 15-20 mins and when i went to the desk to pay, the 2 same guys were standing around talking. Very poor customer service!!

I ordered recommended tires online and had them delivered to the Madison location. Set an install time. Got there, and was told they couldn't put them on my truck because what I ordered, which was their recommended size, didn't match the ones on the truck. And that it is their policy they have to match. I wasted half my morning with this and eventually had to go someplace else, which cost me more money, And time. There is absolutely nothing anywhere that I could see that states this, otherwise I would have ordered tires someplace else. The tires that were on my vehicle were only temporary until I could get the new ones installed. I will never deal with this auto department again.

Went in for new battery. No appointment. Have to say Eric was Extremely helpful. Double checking walking out to my vehicle to verify correct battery. Despite being short staffed “ we can squeeze you in getting this done in about 30 minutes “. I think it was done 15-20. Walmart what ever you are paying Eric it is not enough compared to the personal professional service he brings to the company. Nice job!!

Went to have 2 tires mounted on Saturday, they said come back on Saturday in afternoon then said come back Sunday morning so I go at 7am then they say appointment only
