Victory Lane Quick Oil Change (Farmington Hills)

As soon as I pulled in, an older man with a heavy accent greeted me. I told him I just wanted a basic oil change, nothing more. I popped the hood, he came back, and quoted me $70, asking if that was okay. I said no it’s not ok! I just the basic oil change, and handed him a $5 coupon. I wasn’t going to pay $70 for a basic oil change so he was clearly trying to charge the higher price regardless if it was synthetic or blend. After some haggling, we settled on $49.99 plus the coupon. It should have been around $45 out the door. But after driving off, I checked the receipt and saw he’d added “shop fee” and “oil fees” to offset the discount. If I had not handed him the coupon the price would have been the same regardless if I used the coupon or not. Look at the “fees” Don’t fall for it—never going back there again. The whole experience was just shady tactics. Don’t quote one price and then add fees on the backend!

I was in and out in 10 minutes and was charged a fair price, glad I went here.

Went to the shop today to check about oil change. Just took one step inside the shop, and their was an old guy who apparently was watching me coming in. With some attitude that guy did not even let me take my second step and asked very rudely to stay where I was. I could not take that Racist behavior from the elderly guy and just walked back to my car. (I literally was just one step inside the shop and was clearly very far away from him if he was thinking about covid plus he was not wearing the mask himself). Not sure why such negativity still exists and this was my least expected place to face it. I was just being a customer who would have paid for the services. But that guy did not even let me speak. * Please do not visit this Farmington branch if you do not want to loose your mental peace*.

EDIT !!!!! I JUST CHECKED MY CARD STATEMENT AND THEY OVERCHARGED ME MORE THAN WHAT IS ON MY RECIEPT. First I was told if I did the engine flush with my oil change it would be $20 off, that was not applied to my bill. 2nd they asked if I had any other concerns and I stated my tires needed air. I never was shown the new oil filter before it was put on or the dirty one they took off so I guess I have to go home and check that. They never touched them. I tipped also so now I feel extra ripped off. I will never go back here again !!!! Very shady !!

I asked for an oil change. Which they gave me, but not before asking me if I wanted 6-10 other things. I had to tell them I just wanted an oil change multiple times. I ended up landing on a 94$ oil change because apparently my old car requires more. Just to come home to google that I in fact did not need this special old car treatment.
