got my oil changed 11/21/24 and on 12/1/2024 my engine overheated on the highway and blew a gasket. please do not come here. literally anywhere else. ): Now i am out of a car at the busiest time of the year. (picture of the receipt, me pulled off in a truck stop to attempt to let my car cool & also the final picture when my dashboard said “ENGINE OVERHEATED PUT IN IDLE” and i had to pull over on the side of 270 and get escorted by the police to another truck stop.) had to be towed off. yes i did call and i was hung up on.

Would give zero stars if possible. Will never visit this or any other valvoline location. Almost stranded with the entire family because they did not perform all the safety checks noted on the receipt. Response from Manager was "sorry, I'm not sure what else you want me to say. We always notify the customer when we find corrosion." I just left another repair shop that had to replace terminals and brackets because corrosion was so bad (only a week after I left valvoline) . Photos below. I filed a more official complaint with the Corporate office. Valvoline just lost this families business (5 cars).

Stay away from this location. They can’t seem to complete a simple oil change. Oil filter is leaking oil all over the ground. It’s obviously been that way since the day they’ve touched it, but they’ll give you the excuse that you’re over due for an oil change now so they can’t cover it. Pretty sad that a company like this would waste your time in 2024, but I guess that’s just how people are. Even went as far as contacted corporate just for them to Be on the phone advocating for this behavior. Waste of time and money. Terrible customer service.

They overfilled my oil by at least a quart or more. Now my car is misfiring and blowing a ton of blue smoke. That was November 13th. Here we are 2 months later and they're trying to back out on covering the cost of the repairs.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! they do not complete full service and lie to you about it. We just had an oil change done less than 2 weeks ago and our battery was slow to start. We took it in to get repaired today and it was so corroded they even had to replace the brackets that hold the battery. They said there was no way this corrosion took place in a 2 week period. So they lie that they check the battery and when we called we basically got "oh well". Calling corporate. Don't give them your business for your own safety. I wrote a review on their Facebook page and proceeded to delete my comments and block me. Real professional. I have a call in to corporate and the BBB

Update: it’s been over three weeks and management has yet to reach out to me like promised by customer service. Apparently this whole interaction was with the store manager according to customer service agent and a district manager was suppose to reach out to me but I can see that customer satisfaction is low on the priority list in this district. I’m quite baffled at the experience I had this evening while getting an oil change at this location. Typically everytime I come here it’s been a good experience but tonight that was not the case. While receiving my oil change I brought a new oil cap assembly to put on, when removing the old one a guy came out from underneath my car and took two big pliers to get a metal piece off. It took him and 3 other guys to get the piece off they needed. Nobody communicated this with me, instead I watched them repeatedly drop it on the ground while laughing hysterically because they couldn’t get it off. Once that was over with they went to show me my dipstick and my car had roughly 2 quarts too much oil in it! When I brought this to the attention of the worker I was gas lit into thinking I’m just a girl and I don’t know what I’m talking about. It took over two mins of arguing with the worker that over the second hole is NOT the safe zone and it’s in fact over filled before he would actually listen and check it. After checking it I proceeded to watch him suck out about 2 quarts of oil out of my car and he showed me the dipstick again where it was just under the second mark of the dipstick (where it actually should be). Never did he apologize, just said they must’ve had the wrong info in the computer. After reading other reviews this seems to be a common mistake they make that could end up costing you thousands! Do you know the seals that would bust with that much oil in an engine? Even though I'm “just a girl” like he said, atleast I'm smart enough to read a dipstick. Also I feel that when you’re popping my hood and adding fluids I think it should be communicated on what is being added and why. They just do it without saying anything. I will be reaching out to corporate in the morning because this is common knowledge that can become quite the disaster for someone. PLEASE CHECK THE DIPSTICKS WHEN THEY ARE FINISHED WITH YOUR CARS!
