This High St location was a good store a year ago. Now they have an undertrained staff. Which they admit are off the street with minimal training, if you value your car. Do Not Go Here. If they break or ruin something good luck getting it fixed. You will have to jump through multiple hoops! make multiple phone calls over what seemed weeks. And deny any and all responsibility, my car went in with no mechanical problems, i sent my wife in to get a routine oil change (she was weary from the start going here) and the car broke down. Had a diagnostic done. The oil filter was leaking and causing a problem with the clutch. And now I’m being ghosted by the area manager Michael and being told it’s our fault by the assistant store manager Tyler. It’s been a nightmare. We need our car!!!

Service was quick, and the manager was really nice. I am mainly riding this because I felt one of the employees who I believe was named Andrea, didn’t seem very personable and actually got aggressive at one point towards other employees. The manager and Andrea argued in front of me, And I felt pretty uncomfortable being stuck in the middle of it and not able to go anywhere. Other than that, service was fine

DO NOT bring your car to this location for an oil change unless you are ready to pay for extra expenses at a mechanic shop to fix what they did. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change on November 29th 2014 at 1:10pm specifically at the 2975 N Hight St location, but the service was not performed correctly, which resulted in additional damage and expenses for me. When I brought this to their attention, they refused to take responsibility or offer assistance in resolving the issue. When i left from getting my oil change my check engine light came on and downhill from there. DO NOT

This was my first time getting my oil changed by myself without my dad and the employees were very helpful, nice, and did the oil change fast. I also apparently had no oil and they were very sweet about telling me I should probably come in sooner next time. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience

Sad to say that after 20 years, this location has lost a customer. Why would you advertise that you can change a lightbulb when you can’t…. I called in advance to make sure that my location had my headlight bulb in stock… I was assured that it was in stock and that the $25 fee included installation. Upon arrival, the employee looked at me with fear in his eyes when I mentioned that I needed one of my headlight bulbs changed. I told him that I had called in advance to verify that they had the bulb in stock and that they offered this service… And he said, “well that’s just a call center”. Later he verified that the bulb was in stock but when he went to install it, he wasn’t capable of doing the work. I just have a standard 2013 RAV4 nothing special… But he wasn’t able to open up the fixture to replace the bulb. He came back to my vehicle, shrugging with his hands in the air and said ma’am, I can’t replace this bulb for you. I said OK can any of the other employees here replace a headlight lightbulb? He told me that he would go check… He walked away and stood at the back desk for a minute and came back and told me that no one else could do it. I told him I had specifically called in advance to make sure that this BASIC service could be performed on my vehicle, because I had to take a long drive in the dark that evening for a rehearsal. He suggested I go to AutoZone down the street. The whole reason I went to Valvoline is because I called in advance and they told me that they could do this for me and then when I showed up it was like amateur hour. He finished my oil change and didn’t make any eye contact for the remainder of the visit and basically hurried me out of there without giving me the lightbulb service I originally showed up for. And I drove in the dark with one headlight to rehearsal. And now I still have to go somewhere else to get this bulb changed. I had no intention of filing a formal complaint, but I was disappointed that I wont able to use the coupon I brought with me for the headlight service because it expired yesterday. I called in to see if I could speak to customer service and perhaps get a coupon or some kind of discount for them wasting my time and money. I told them I didn’t want to file a formal complaint… in no way was I trying to go full Karen (thats not how I roll), but I asked them if they might be able to give me a coupon or some kind of discount. The woman on the phone told me that she would send a coupon over to the phone number. I was calling from via text message… I said thank you and the coupon never came through. So today I get up and I call Valvoline customer care again to try and see if I can get some kind of discount after all these shenanigans… The woman who originally answered the phone was very kind and helpful but when she handed me over to customer care, the woman was fake and mean. She said all she could do is give me a coupon for a future oil change… I said that is not customer service. In my mind, I should be getting the bulb for free at this point right ?? But she basically scolded me for insinuating that… so I hung up on her because wtf rude. and that’s the end of me and Valvoline’s 20 year monogamous relationship. IF YOU OFFER A BASIC SERVICE, MAKE SURE YOUR WORKERS ARE TRAINED IN PERFORMING SAID SERVICE.

I was highly satisfied with my experience at this Valvoline Instant Oil Change because of the incredible kindness and professionalism of the staff. From the moment I pulled in, every team member was polite, respectful, and genuinely welcoming. They explained everything clearly, never pressured me into additional services, and made sure I was comfortable and informed throughout the entire process. It’s rare to find such courteous and considerate service these days, and it made a routine oil change feel like a truly positive experience. Thank you to the whole team. I’ll definitely be back!

Your staff are always professional and courteous. The work flow is consistent with staff communication that is super efficient every time. I looooooove this store. The price was right, but I asked for a tire rotation and watched the person in charge go around and tighten my lug nuts without using a star pattern? If I can't trust you to tighten my lug nuts properly then how can I trust you to do any other aspect of my visit correctly. I'm heartbroken because the repair shop was so close to my apartment. But I won't be going back, because I can't trust the work being done there.

The Valvoline on North High St In Columbus broke my car. It barely made it home and had to be towed the next day to a repair shop. Upon inspection they had removed the air filter and installed it in backwards after asking if I wanted it replaced. With installing it backwards dirt was sucked into the MAF sensor causing its failure. Also the new oil filter was leaking and drain plug on finger tight. They have refused to contact me and pay for the very expensive bill. The regional supervisor has not made contact in over a week since I filed the claim with them. DO NOT GO THERE!!
