I’ve taken my 2000 Chevy Blazer to John’s Auto on High Street multiple times, and they never disappoint. The team is honest, transparent, and incredibly reliable. Duncan is highly experienced and skilled, and his work speaks for itself. Kathy, who helps run the shop, is absolutely amazing—she’s communicative, professional, and truly a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. Shared why she does this kind of work and it’s a great thing to hear. Go shop for all you vehicle needs. Not once have they ever tried to find something that wasn’t wrong and tried to replace. Very honest like I said!! What sets John’s Auto apart is their extremely fair pricing as well as their insane hospitality. Every time I leave, I feel confident that I’m getting an honest deal—not like other places that have left me questioning the cost. It’s clear they care about their customers and take pride in their work. As long as John’s Auto is around, I’ll continue to bring my vehicle here. I dropped my car off with a single complaint. There was a shimmy when driving at freeway speeds. They called and said that a lower control arm needed replacing and also that the brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced as well. This all sounded feasible enough. When I picked it up and drove it on the freeway again, I had the same shimmy. A pretty severe vibration in the steering wheel at freeway speeds. I took it back and was told that it needed wheel bearings on both front wheels. I hesitated to take their word for it, discussed it with my wife, and we called and talked to Kathy who offered a 15 percent discount on the job so we went ahead with it. I picked it up for a second time, took it on the freeway, and the vibration was still present. I'd been assured that they had driven it and tested it for the shimmy. I called again and Kathy asked us to bring it back so they could balance the tires and see if that fixed it. We did. I picked it up and the shimmy/vibration seems to be mostly resolved now but the check engine light is on now. As in, I turned the key when picking it up and was greeted with the check engine light and the 'D' light blinking on the transmission selector. I think that's going to be the end of my relationship with John's at this point.

I'd been gifted an old Jeep at 170k miles only for it to start breaking down soon after. No one but John's Auto could have taken care of the transmission's replacement, axel replacements/repair in such a timely and considerate manner. I practically got my car rebuilt here and thanks to them I have a reliable car- highly, HIGHLY recommend them for your auto needs. It's worth mentioning that I'm also a woman and can recommend other women to come here; I can vouch for John's Auto.

The owner Kathy is very courteous, but , an older Lady at the desk , when Kathy is out, need intense training on customer service as she has no idea on Auto repairs and always grouchy . If this grouchy old lady manages the shop (instead of Kathy) sooner they will be out of business
