1.0 Beginning of October 2024 I shoppe for used car and my January 18, 2025 By Sergei Borisov from Clarkston, MI Beginning of October 2024 I shoppe for used car and my research brings me to Tony Sierra Nissan at Highland, back in 2019 I already bought brand new commercial van here, so I assume they give me best deals because of returning customer. But everything turn at very ugly business. They offer me 2 cars in my criteria 2019 Ford Escape 90000 miles and 2016 Chevy Equanox 102000 miles, i chose Ford because less miles. We sing deals they offer me extended warranty i took later it's helping me. I put down $4000 cash and rest of price on car loan. After 2 days car have check engine light, I bring back to the dealership David my sales manager ask me what happened I explained his reaction has been very remarkable Already, that fast! So after 2 days in service I took car back, then after 2 days have again check engine lights this time I stopped in auto zone for free trouble code reading so computer shows cam shaft sensor trouble. In mean time I did research on of my friend help me obtain car fax report (dealership suppose to should be showing during sale) so report showing 3 minor car accident, very suspicious maintenance service missing allotted miles between service. My mistake that I not open hood when I bought car hardly any engine oil, antifreeze container totally empty, I admitted that my fault. But how dealership prepare car for sale??? That basic open hood. So they took car for second time, nobody from dealership called and inform me what is going on, after 2 weeks they told me that they have green light from Ford dealership for inspection. Turn around that has been total lying, nobody moves car out of Nissan i found my self driving around. I walked inside to office and asked for general manager, I explained him my frustration he told me that he going control what's going on. Later I found that they took to some kinda of repair shop. On November 6 I phone call from warranty company they asked me all different questions and told me that they waiting for 3rd party for evolution but told me looks like engine bad, after that nobody contacted me. On November 19 I call my self to warranty company and they told me that repair is denied because car need new engine. On November 20th I come back to Tony Sierra Nissan for explanation. After for over hour waiting General manager finally call me in his office. That my second mistake comeback alone, they know how manipulate it's those people primary skills manipulate and give ad what they wanted. First they trys go against me make me guilty for point that warranty company denied repair, so then popped out from manager mouth that his mechanic long ago told him that car need new engine. Then they told me that they can't just buy back car from me and going to make trade. For trade they offer me 2016 Chevy Equanox 102000 miles in higher price, they canceled warranty price from Ford and applying as down payment on Chevy, turn around they lying me from beginning about price for warranty they told me it's $2000, but actually is $2489. This time they show me cars fax report. But when I signed papers I totally missed sneakily include GAP insurance $1500, when next day I ask manager he told me that Credit Union requires, but when few days later i call bank they told me that they require only regular car insurance. So when I told Nissan manager about that lying he told me that this is protection for investment. I been surprised heard that and told him I don't bought Ferrari or Bugatti, this old Chevy with allot miles. So he promised me returning those money but told me up front it's going be like payment and not changing monthly payment amount. Later in very bad quality invoice i read that GAP insurance it's optional product. Those crooks just wants take more money from the bank hopping I don't find. Took him full week for make those payment after when I remind him. General manager now blames me that I bad guy and they very good. Bottom line they screw up because of greedy.

Service department is great! They always take care of me and make sure my vehicle is in tip top shape. Always have specials and promotions going on so even though I live 45 minutes away I make the drive.
