Took the car here after another place made a diagnosis I did not feel confident about. TKS made the correct diagnosis which was considerably different from the first place. Fixed the car in a timely manner and price was reasonable, car worked well after being fixed. I do recommend this business.

I stopped giving business to the shop and had a family mechanic take over for a cheaper rate and better experience, after finding out that one of their mechanics is doing everything half-ass. One of their mechanics recently did my back control arms and welded the eccentric to the vehicle, so when we had to replace the back control arms, we had to pry off the welding using a hammer to get the part replaced, in which now I'm in the market for getting not just one but two eccentrics replaced. While getting an alignment done at Firestone, they advised us to get the back control arms replaced, but nor do we know that this one mechanic ended up doing everything half-assed. Another mechanic, also busted a hole in my windshield washer reservoir, and another one when replacing the window clipping, had ended up clipping into my Pioneer sound system on my driver side, so a good majority of my speaker is busted. I'm still in route of paying over $2,500 because of some half-assed work, so if you're going to be trusting this shop, be extremely careful with who you trust to do your vehicle, because they also tried to dishevel a Mustang too.

Honest, reasonably priced, efficient. They let me know that something the dealer was telling me was imperative to repair wasn't actually a problem saving me nearly a thousand dollars. They were easy to work with on another repair on my truck and got it taken care of in a timely manner. I would recommend them to anyone searching for a good local mechanic.

When I moved back to Albuquerque I fired two mechanics in the first 8 months. To say I'm picky about my mechanics is probably an understatement. I've been going to TKS for about 8 years now and even was with them when they passed on the ownership - the service and knowledge remains superb. Also, I'm a woman so loving my mechanic is a tall order - I always feel "heard" and there's never mansplaining :-). They are worth every penny, and have probably saved me thousands of dollars in helping me identify potential problems early and they definitely help keep me safe on my many road trips. They'll also be up front with you on what you need now vs. what can wait awhile.

I highly recommend this business. They are very busy, but were able to have my vehicle repaired the same day. Very professional staff. Good work at an honest price. My 2019 Forester has a new home.
