I lead my friend to there. Reason is checking 2022 Toyota Mirai and fixing some prolems. Of course I have to take apoinment before few days. The cost is very expensive on everythings, 4 mentioned issues that have to fix or adjust. Anyhow, I just allow them to fix one of four, main thing. During 4 - 5 hours of checking and fixing car, I look around interesting and learning something new. I saw Allstate Insurance Company on wall which is nearly service office, then I ask for my friend car, his case. As a result, the "Full Coverage", price $1.796.18/ 6 month, down payment $359.94/ month, Bodily Injury cover $50.000. Let Tony thinks, my friend, we haven't decided buying Allstate Insurance yet. That's it - my experience at Stenvens Creek Toyota Service Center.

I received the worst service I’ve ever gotten at Toyota. The service department didn’t offer me a loaner car even though they had one when they had to keep my car for almost two days. I was told my truck would be ready by 5pm after bringing it in at 9am. Manager refused to give me a loaner even though this was a warranty repair! I just spent 70k plus on a truck at the dealership too. Service department then lied about my car being ready at 5 pm and called me at 530pm saying it won’t be ready until next day. I had to emergency extend my rental and adjust my work schedule due tot his unbelievably poor service. I will be switching my service dealerships due to how I was treated.

We get our oil changes here for both of our cars. We always make an appointment beforehand, but we still have to wait at least 30 min for someone to check in our car and then a few hours for the oil change itself. We also get frequent recommendations for work that isn't required. For example, we've received recommendations from this service station that our oil changes are recommended every four months, even though our Toyota car manual recommends changing it once a year or every 8k miles. Overall, the customer service is good and they generally do good work, although they do seem to charge more than other places.

Brought the car for the appointment to replace brake pads. The advisor said shims may also be replaced which they didn't have in stock. They said the car would be ready by noon the next day. The next day, I had to call 2 times to remind them I exist, since the primary advisor was not in, I was all forgotten about. Nobody called me back, the link to the portal had never been sent. Then at 4 PM I called the 3rd time and complained some more and finally at 4:40 PM I get an update the car would be ready by 5:30 PM. So it's less than 1 hour of work for them, but it was never a priority even though the car had been there from the day before. Then, 10 minutes later, they found the brake caliper had been broken the whole time and it wore down one brake pad way more than the other but they had no idea because this is not a part of their multi point inspection that they had done less than 2 weeks ago and advised on replacing the brake pads. Result: 2 days wasted and I am taking my car elsewhere. In the past, I chose the official service center for their speed, competence and professionalism which seemed fair to pay more for. This time around, they showed none of that. The advisor I talked to had emphasized how important the relations with customers are to them, made sweet small talk but in the end it's worth nothing if the technicians fail to identify major (and expensive!) issues that are also safety concerns, and out of the army of chatty advisors, none are available to call the customer back the whole day long.

I recently visited Toyota Stevens Creek Service Center and had the pleasure of working with John Smith, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and the fantastic offer they provided. What truly stood out was the amazing offer they presented, which made the necessary repairs and maintenance much more affordable. John went above and beyond to ensure I received the best value for my money. They clearly explained the details of the offer and how it would benefit me, making sure I felt confident in my decision. Their transparency and honesty were greatly appreciated, and I never felt pressured into accepting the offer. Thanks John for making my car service experience so positive and affordable!

I often service my car here since it came with a prepaid service package. While the service itself is generally okay, I’ve noticed that every visit comes with a sales pitch from the service technicians. I get that it’s part of their job, but I’d really prefer if the focus stayed on the actual service. On this visit, I came in for a routine “300-point inspection” and tire rotation included with my package. The technician told me there was evidence of rodent activity under the hood—something not uncommon in California. What struck me as odd was that they immediately recommended a $300 diagnostic to make sure everything was okay. If the 300-point inspection doesn’t already include that kind of check, what exactly is being inspected? When I asked if they at least cleaned up the rodent mess, the technician replied, “We used air pressure to clean up some, but we’re not a cleaning service.” That already felt like a brush-off, and when I checked myself and took a photo, it looked like nothing had been done. I’m not even sure if cleanup is part of their job, but it definitely left me questioning their honesty. All in all, this place does the bare minimum, and although my service is prepaid, I’d probably look elsewhere for better value and transparency if I were paying out of pocket.

It started with a leak. Something was dripping on the driveway. I had someone look at it to see what it was and they said the valve cover gasket was leaking and should be replaced, and possibly the spark plugs would need to be replaced as well. When they went in thinking they would replace it, they found this glue/silicone substance (picture below) and said they couldn't work on my car. The only place that has ever changed my spark plugs before was Stevens Creek Toyota, which is where I also bought the car. When I went to them and showed them pictures, at first they denied it, and said they'd need to talk with the techs. One of the Service Advisors told me their techs would NEVER do this and said, "how do we know someone else didn't do this? The last time we worked on it was a year and a half ago." I felt like he was accusing me of lying about it. It turns out they spoke with the tech who worked on my car and he said he didn't remember specifically, but they've seen this done before and if it was like that they would have put it back the way it was or they could have done it to make sure it held securely. Once that was shared, they finally agreed to fix the clips that were glued down and the service advisor apologized. I had to take it in for inspection, which found 4 out of 6 clips were glued. It took a week for parts to come in and then I was scheduled a week out from that. So it's been three weeks driving around with a leaking gasket. They agreed to replace the clips for free and give me a loaner car. I asked if they could fix the gasket and spark plugs for me as a courtesy. The manager never called me back and ignored my emails. My service advisor said there was no way they would do it for free and offered a discount. Their hourly service rate is $290 and he offered $40 off that. Not even half! The total for them to fix the gaskets and seals would be over $1400 and they didn't even give me an itemized quote! When I requested it, they sent and they claim it would take 5 hours to do the work when I was told by the previous mechanic (who couldn't work on it because of THEIR bs work) that it would take about 2 hours. I've been driving for weeks now, commuting from Tracy to San Jose with a small child. No other dealership or mechanic would even touch that part of my car, but they don't seem to care. I've copied Service Manager and the General Manager on every single email. Neither has ever responded, even when I wrote to them directly. This is one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a service oriented business. They are the reason dealership service departments have such a bad reputation. I just want to drive a safe and dependable car. They're trying to break the bank.

I took my car in for service back in March, for an oil change. They told me they could not change my oil because i had a bad oil leak. they told me i needed to have a $3550+ repair done because of the bad oil leak. they told me there was oil all over. I knew I did not have a bad oil leak because I check my oil every 2 weeks since I purchased the car brand new. It was full. I took my car to another independent shop (who is now my new mechanic) and not only did they change my oil, they did a full inspection and my oil is STILL FULL! So glad I finally found a new honest mechanic.

Just for the wheel lock INSTALLATION fee, a 5 to 10 minute job, I was charged $145, this is a robbery! I asked many other dealerships, installing wheel locks is typically a quick and straightforward service that usually costs between $20 to $50 at most dealerships. I called them to ask the labor rate or hours billed, which not showed on the invoice. I was just told the guy who gave service to me not here, out for lunch.🙃🙃🙃 If you don't want to be ripped off like me, DO NOT come here to get your car fixed.

Really disappointed with the service department here. I bought a premium sports car, the trunk stopped closing properly. I did some research and found a loose plastic strip was likely the issue. When I mentioned this to the service tech, he brushed it off completely and quoted me $300 just to "diagnose" the exact thing I had already told them. It felt more like a money grab than an attempt to help a customer. Rather than cause a scene, I walked away — but it's frustrating. These dealerships don’t seem to care about customer loyalty anymore. It’s all about the upsell. No wonder mobile mechanics are on the rise — they actually listen, work honestly, and don’t charge you ridiculous fees for minor issues. Toyota of Stevens Creek should take a long look in the mirror. At this rate, warranty or not, I won’t be going back. Save your time, your money, and your patience. Stay far away from this service department.
