I upgraded the 2016 RX350 original nav to support Apple Car Play and Android auto . I am very impressed with the product and workmanship that Kevin and his team did. They did an excellent job to upgrade the existing display of RX350 to support Apple Car Play. I called a few shop to get price and product availability and Auto sound was able to get product locally within same day. Product prices are reasonable but installation price is higher but they did an excellent job. I also installed the 4k rear view mirror with front and back camera.

My audio display screen was slowly dying and needed to be repaired. I was incredibly worried of how much it would be to fix it/replace it. One day I decided to do the initial 95$ diagnostic check at auto sound to see what it would take to fix/replace my screen on my 2015 Sonata. To my surprise, the prices were very reasonable and I was able to come back and upgraded my system to Apple Car play. Kevin was incredibly helpful and answered any questions I had. Additionally, they were able to take me in last minute and accommodate my work schedule. I am incredibly happy with my new system and my experience at auto sound.

Update: 19OCT24, Kevin made it better by refunding me and taking care of that. He and his staff are nice people so this is not personal. Objectively, I can’t still recommend as damage was still done to my vehicle and another shop that removed the GROM even was confused why with Autosound on why there was scuffs and damage since all they had to do was lay down a protective covering and carefully remove the head unit. They said that was not common practice to be that careless. At the end of the day it still cost me money and time that I can’t recoup. I had to buy a new trim piece for the center console and won’t be able to repair the damage behind the head unit as it’s a massive structural piece of the dash. Document your vehicles prior to turning them over to anyone to CYA just in case. Hopefully it’s a learning experience for all and doesn’t happen to others. Old post below: Worst experience from a customer stand point and professionalism. I showed up originally for scheduled install time only to learn the parts didn’t show up and they didn’t bother checking physically before my 30 min drive there. Once the day came to install, my interior trim was scratched up and not put back correctly. Why it was all scratched up makes no sense as most Toyotas don’t need prying off they have snap on tabs. The system once installed took one additional trip to troubleshoot it as back up camera was not working. In total 3 physical trips and a 4th needed to just put it back to stock. Still doesn’t work to this day. I emailed them and got no response back regarding to just putting my vehicle back to stock and not deal with this sub par product that doesn’t work properly. I asked for refund for not giving me a product that works as promised. Do not recommend these folks if it comes to installing from product into your stock vehicle interface. Total of 3 trips and over 10hours of waiting around for a product that still does not work. Holding them accountable by simply getting a refund or returned to stock is the key. Do not use they people. Horrible. The photos show all the scarring and scratches and I don’t even understand why. My gauge cluster was scratched bad during mic install for some reason too. I never write reviews but after chance and chance I feel folks need to be aware and it’s not personal it’s just bad business.

I highly recommend here! Kevin and the skilled technician at this place helped me install the front and rear dash cam I bought from Walmart. Initially, the hardwiring didn’t work properly, but when I returned to Kevin with the issue, he fixed it, even though the dash cam wasn’t a product they sold. He was very responsible and respectful. The pricing is also reasonable, and they completed the work within two hours. He went over everything he repaired, explaining each detail. I really appreciated that.

I worked with Kevin and Tony at Auto Sound and they were just awesome!!! I own a vintage 1977 Datsun 280Z and added a Sony/Alpine/Kicker sound system that sounds fantastic. I also added an alarm system with auto door locks and front/rear dash cams for my peace of mind. Everything works great. Kevin and Tony went way above my expectations. I definitely recommend them for your audio and security needs!!!!

I'm very satisfied with the work Kevin and his team did on my dash cam for 24-hour parking mode. I called multiple places to get quotes, and while this shop was one of the more expensive ones, they had the best customer service. When I arrived at the store, Kevin thoroughly explained what his team was going to do and exactly how much they would charge me. They were completely transparent about the pricing. After the installation was complete, Kevin walked me through everything I needed to know about my dash cam—explaining the features, settings, and how it all works. I would highly recommend this shop to any of my friends looking for a dash cam installation.

kevin helped me get the sound system done for my mustang. replaced all the speakers with alpines and put in a dual 12” sub with an amp. price was good and got everything done at the promised time. highly recommend.

Update : my car battery was replaced and Apple car play unit hang. I called Kevin and he help rebooted the device and it’s working again.
