I am extremely upset about the experience I had here. I came in for an oil change and regular maintenance for 30,000 miles. Online, they recommended checking the brakes, so I told them to do that as well. The online estimate showed a price of a few hundred dollars. When I arrived, they presented me with a package costing about $600, which included draining engine fluids, changing filters, and performing an oil change. I thought it was a bit expensive, especially since other local repair shops offer similar services for much less. However, since this is a Ford-authorized dealer and they know the vehicle better, I was willing to pay a premium. Later, they called to inform me that the brakes were not in good condition and needed to be replaced. I agreed to the brake replacement. They also mentioned that my tires needed to be replaced. When I received the final bill of $2,842, I was sure this included new tires—at least that would have made a little sense. But then, they informed me that the tires were not included in this bill and would be an additional $1,300! At that point, I was completely shocked. I have never been charged this much for an oil change and brake replacement. As I reviewed the receipt, I noticed they had also replaced the rotors—something I never requested. I specifically chose to replace the brakes to avoid damaging the rotors, which were perfectly fine. Even if the rotors needed replacement, this price is still outrageous. I don’t understand why anyone would use this dealership when local shops can do the same work for a quarter of the price. I paid the bill and left, but this is the last time I will ever step foot in this place. I truly feel like I was robbed. When they offer their service packages, know that it’s just marketing material—they will never stick to the quoted price. You will end up paying at least three times what they initially tell you. As for the tires, there is no way I will get them done here after this experience.

Disgracefully slow and inattentive. I brought my vehicle in for an *inspection* (no actual repairs needed) and waited close to 4 hours before I could leave. Of course paid ~$250 for labor. Jersey City needs another option

Terrible salespeople and terrible workers who lose business. The salesperson went to get the manager when he realized my dad was serious about buying a car and potentially walking out with a car today. After negotiating with the manager my dad said he’d think about the offer and come back again. As soon as he said that the manager said to never come back again. When asked if everyone has to walk out with a car that day, the manager kept shouting to just never come back again. Later, a different manager called apologizing and asking that he come back, but we don’t want to do business with people like that.

Please don’t bring your Ford car here. This might very well be the worst place I’ve ever brought my car to. For starters, they’re always too busy to see you even if you have an appointment scheduled. I’ve been turned away 3 times because their mechanics are too busy. When you are seen, they take forever and a half to service your vehicle. And if/when they service your vehicle, they do a horrible horrible job at it and you end up coming back 2-3 times because the issue was never fixed. On top of that, the prices are ridiculous and they manage to rip you off more than a shady car shop. And good luck trying to get through to them via phone, I have been calling for about 30 minutes and no answer. I dropped my car off at 9am and am still waiting for ANY update at 3pm. Last time I bring my car here. Go anywhere else please.
