I recently had a rear window replaced by Specialized Auto Glass and upon inspecting the car after the work was done there were scratches on the trunk lid and there was also a large scuff on the brand new glass that was put in. I am very meticulous about my vehicles so I know that the scratches were not there before the window was replaced. Something obviously happened during the process of removing the old window or putting in the new window, but when I contacted them about it they denied that anything happened and their only solution was to include it in my insurance claim or see if it could be buffed out. I am not impressed with the integrity of this company. I would recommend looking elsewhere for your glass replacement needs.

So the glass their using is extremely poor quality and not very durable. Personally I think the glass cracked it’s self from poor placement as I barely drove the car in two months, but was told it was from a small rock which it didn’t look like at all. I think if your glass can barely hold up for 60 days you should replace it. I will never use this company or their crude customer service again and will make sure to tell every person I work with of their horrid service. I recommend getting better vendors who know how to properly make durable windshields.
