After failing to return numerous messages, I told the service manager that I had been trying to reach her and mentioned the numerous messages, she insisted that she always checks those messages and returns them and accused me of lying. Prior to that she was very rude at best, and the service department’s work had become very subpar and abusively expensive. After my recent experiences, I terminated my 20+ years relationship with this business. They used to be a great business, but it appears that under poor management the quality of their work and customer service has plummeted to the bottom of the barrel. Don’t waste your money.

Never ever ever ever go here I don’t care if it the last shop in a 1000 mile radius these people are pure cons they will find a way to beat you out your money even if they can’t fix your car

Worst mechanic in Greenville South Carolina from Mercedes they tried to charge me $1,200 to replace three motor mounts on a Mercedes and said it would take 7 to 8 hours that was a lie. I did it myself and it took me 3 hours... Never go to this mechanic save yourself some money and do it yourself

Southern Star Automotive is the best! They saved me when the dealership quoted me an astronomical price to service things that weren’t even necessary. Ryan was awesome to work with; he is kind, professional and empathetic and true to his word. I appreciated greatly the quick turnaround time for the services, waiving the diagnosis fee and the prompt communication. I will definitely be back for future service needs!
