Smog Busters

Very unfriendly representative, was curt and didn’t seem to know what they were doing. If you park normally, front of car IN to the parking spot, they need to pass the ABD cable THROUGH THE VEHICLE!! 🙈 It took a LONG time to conduct smog check - compared to other Smog Check providers/brands. There was no line up ahead of me and nobody waiting. The actual location is difficult to get into and exit from, off Blue Diamond.

Horrible customer service. I was rudely told to park my car forward in the spot, rather than backing in. The “technician” was trying to hold the RPM using the throttle cable rather than going in the car and using the gas pedal. The “technician” said my car had an idle issue and was overheating when it clearly did not have these issues. I went to another smog place right after leaving this one and my car passed the smog test just fine. The “technician” was extremely rude and clearly did not know what he was doing or talking about. Save your time and go somewhere else for your smog check.

Very poor and unmannered customer service. No “Hi” nor “welcome,” straight to pointing and yelling because I parked in reverse in their designated parking space. Could have easily asked me to change parking politely and I would have done so. The smog checks down the road have you park in reverse and he expects people to automatically know?

Great customer service and I will never go to another smog tester. Just pull into the first spot and you’re as good as gold. Thanks again for the excellent service and conversation!

I went to another Smog Busters down the street and was there by 5:40 and I was turned away because the car he had was the last one. I raced down to this one and made it by 5:50 and Shawn was super helpful. He was happy to help even though I was last minute. I apologized as I had just gotten off work and he said no worries and was able to get everything done in less than 5 minutes. I was annoyed when I got there that I was denied for no reason at the other location but Shawn saved the day. We were even able to talk about the Golden Knights. Thank you Shawn for your help and being so polite and understanding.

To the owner of this Smog Busters, the overweight, unkempt man you had working there today at 11:00 AM is going to put you out of business. Incredibly surly and rude. When I arrived he was putzing around with a confused, older man who may or may not have really needed a smog check. Instead of properly dealing with the older man (whose car wasn't in the smog check spot BTW) and having me pull into the spot your tech gave a dismissive gesture to me, indicating I should park across the parking lot. When he finally delt with the older man rather than coming up to me and letting me know where he wanted me, he simply started gesturing in a way that showed he was annoyed that he had to actually do his job and wasn't very informative. When I finally figured out where he wanted me I got out of my car, not really thrilled with the delay. The first words out of his mouth should have been "Sorry sir for the delay, how may I help you?" but instead all he said "What, you don't smile?" Here's a hint: the annoyed customer isn't required to smile. The technician is. I was already annoyed and simply said "Just do your job." He got nastier. I told him to put away his stuff and I'll find another smog place (remember Mr/Ms Smog Busters owner, there are only approximately 500 smog places in the Las Vegas Valley). He seemed totally fine with that. So off I went and quickly found a place where the tech was polite and made this chore a lot more pleasant. And most importantly, they got my money not you. Fix this issue or I hope you go out of business.

Taken 3 cars here two of them twice if I remember correctly. Usually always get in and out and the staff guys are always chill even when stopping by to ask about service.

No line, smog process took approximately 5 minutes, and they even offer DMV registration services.
