As a first-time customer at Preferred Collision Repair, I was very pleased. My car was totaled by the insurance company, and Preferred Collision Repair was the only place that would fix it. They did a wonderful job! The owner was able to get all the parts needed despite my car being 21 years old. Jim made it look brand new again. Jim was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and an expert. I was so glad that Preferred Collision Repair was the place that was able to fix my car. I would highly recommend this business to everyone who needs body or collision work. You won't find anyone better in South Bend or Mishawaka. Jim's shop gives excellent service!

After an accident, the insurance company opted to total our 07 Civic. Not wanting to shop for a new or used car, I brought it to Preferred on a whim, and they had it back to me in great shape at the price they quoted in less than two weeks. The other body shops I tried either wouldn't touch it or said it'd take over a month. Would totally use Preferred again.

I've had two cars in to Preferred for fender benders in the past two years. Both times they've done very nice work and had the cars back promptly. In the more recent case, they were especially helpful in dealing with the insurance company, making sure they covered parts that made our car look like new. Will certainly be back if we have another mishap.

Preferred Collision is a great body shop. They match the color my car perfect when I got it back it was clean and look nice. They had it to me on time. Never had a problem with the shop and I have been taking my car her for a long time. I recommend it to a lot of people. Go and check it out if you have a problem with your car. They also repair rust.

Let's put it this way, if you want a good body shop I can recommend one but not this one. Jim the owner works with his son, they did a restoration on my car, when they painted the car they did it in stages so now the color doesn't match also when they wet sanded the car they sanded through the color on the edges in various areas they then took a brush and touched up where they sanded through. When I confronted Jim with the problems he became very angry, I could go on and on. Don't waste your time and money with this body shop.
