Had my timing chain replaced on my 2011 GMC terrain. Scott did fantastic work on my car and I have had no issues since. It took a bit longer due to issues with parts which was out of their hands but they communicated and were honest every step of the way. Highly recommend for complicated or difficult motor jobs. Also fantastically priced compared to a dealership. I saved about $3,000 versus going to the dealership.

These guys are top notch. From the front guys all the way to the back, they are great to deal with. Their professionalism, communication, attention to details are like no other. We take our pick ups to big commercial vehicles here for anything! Nothing better than supporting a family own and ran business just like us, you get to know them on a personal level which is more satisfying knowing it’s going to get done right, you’re not just another order to these guys. Easy to deal with, always a call/text away if you have any troubles. Go to Powerline for anything needed, if they can’t do it (very rare) they have the resources to steer you in the right direction. Being in the supply industry, things are different from lead times on parts to laborer issues like everyone else, but they get it done and done right- in a respected time frame.

I reserved a Uhaul truck from them knowing the price was around $4-500 (price came from one of the workers directly over the phone) for the 2 days needed. I go in to pick it up and now they are wanting to charge $8-900. I told him that’s not what you said over the phone. He didn’t want to help or negotiate with what was given to me prior. So He gives me the direct Uhaul phone number to call, I called and they said yes he did not give you the right price and to avoid using his trucks since they are older with high mileage. So now just down the road I got a better price with newer trucks/lower mileage just by using the phone number he gave me… wasted time and won’t be back here for any Uhaul rentals

So here is the score: They did the work, I hired them to do. +1 Star They did not do it in time efficient manner. The excuse that taking a look at the problem Monday, does not mean that would start working on the solution Monday. In my book is just grasping at straws for and excuse that cost me 2 days of lost work. -1 Star Not troubleshooting their caused AC problem and blaming previous repairs to avoid responsibility. -1 star Lack of attention to detail of the work. (like the under tightened hose clamps) -1 star. You can read the whole story below Had a front main seal leak on a ISX CM830 engine. Called them on Tuesday, asked if they do such work and when would they be able to take care of it. Was told that they are booked up all through the week and the following Monday would be the earliest that they could take a look at it. I dropped the truck off on Friday afternoon, and was reminded that they are very busy and nothing would happen until Monday. Monday came and went, no phone call from the shop. Tuesday afternoon I stopped by to see the progress. There was none. I was told that they were very busy, and they will try to take a look at it later that day. I asked them to call me when they get in in the shop. Wednesday evening I get a call that indeed they found a front crank seal to be leaking oil. And parts are on order should be completed by Friday. Thursday night i get a call from a tech, asking about my AC system not working. I explain that there is a bypass switch to engage compressor. (note, this is in a Volvo truck, so in order to get to the front main seal, you do need to take entire cooling stack off. this includes AC condenser, intercooler, radiator, fan etc) so that call was to be expected. Friday come around, I call them at around 1400 to ask the status, I'm told that truck is done but AC system does not hold the charge. Due to the shady patch work on one of the low pressure lines that was there before, Far away from the area that they were working on. (note that when I dropped off the truck almost a week before, AC was working, and was holding a charge for the last two years since I owned the truck) I was not aware of the patch at the time but if that was the only problem, I can take care of it my self. I pick up the truck later that day, and they point out the patch that they are blaming for the AC problems. I asked for any possible discount off my bill since the repairs did not start till Wednesday, and now I have to do more repairs after their shop was done with it, but no luck there. I was told that they said that they can take a look at the problem Monday, but that does not mean that they would start the repair on Monday, and the AC system was not their fault because the leak was not caused by them. I paid the full amount ($1491.43), and took the truck home to fix the AC problem. After hooking up the vacuum pump, I sure enough find a massive leak. System can't hold the vacuum for more than 2 seconds. Took me about 20 minutes to find that the awkward patch work that they said was the cause has nothing to do with this leak. The problem was break the high pressure line that went to the condenser in the front that they had to remove and bend out of the way to work on the seal. The line break was in such a way that no patch work could be done, so I needed to find a replacement. Given that this was Friday around 1800 not many options were available. Local dealers did not have a part in stock and ETA would be Tuesday as the earliest. I called Powerline Engine asking about their contacts maybe some of them had it in stock, but they used same dealers for these parts. Saturday I found the replacement line in Canton OH (70 miles away) got it installed and checked the vacuum, Problem is gone! Charged that system with 1.6KG of R-134A and no more issues with HVAC in that truck. Monday: and I notice that a few of the coolant line hose clamps are dripping, so I started tightening it and found that just about every clamp in the front of the engine was not tightened properly.
