Incredible services! I want to give a special thanks to David and Kenny for the assistance with my car. My car was stationed at Plaza Auto Mall when a tow truck driver from their establishment accidentally scraped the entire left side of my drivers door with the truck. Thanks to David, they were able to help me and fully repaired my car including other existing major damages the car had. They did more than what was expected of them. Not only did they fix the damages that were inflicted by their employee, but they also took care of all the preexisting damages. To top it off, they provided me with a brand new loaner car during the time my vehicle was receiving a complete makeover. I can sincerely say that they take pride in ensuring their clients leave the store satisfied. Once again, a huge thank you to David, Kenny and the Bodyshop team.

Hello reader! First I want to put out the disclaimer that I am not a paid reviewer, a stockholder, AI program, relative, friend, employee, or spouse of anyone who works at this auto shop. I am a real customer. So a little bit about my story, I was sideswiped by a truck who was so kind & thoughtful enough to hit me & keep going. The truck driver, apparently thought he was auditioning for Fast & Furious. The fender was ripped off most of my car_my first car. So you can imagine my pain. This was the first accident in my life. I could have been seriously hurt & praise God, I am well. I was shaken up pretty badly & needed emotional support. Why am I sharing all this? I am giving you context so you will understand my rating. I was greeted w/care & compassion from the time I called to let them know my car was being towed to their location. Rob, who is one of the kindest people God made, let me know they were going to take care of me. I was crying & how he spoke to me gave me comfort. When I got there I was greeted by Rob, David (the manager), and another employee (who I am ashamed to say I never got his name). They personally came outside to greet me. The first thing David asked was if I was okay & if I needed anything. As we talked, Rob stood next to me in a way that communicated that I was safe. His eyes were full of care. You would have thought they were my brothers. That level of customer service is uncommon. There are a plethora of auto shops in NY where you can get your car fixed but we know that servicedoesn't start when the mechanic works on the car. It starts from the first interaction. That caliber of customer service let me know the quality of the work I would get. When I sat with Rob to discuss the next steps, I didn't have much to do. While en route to the shop, Rob prepared my paperwork, contacted the car rental company, and got the info needed from my insurance company. When we completed the paperwork, it was 12 mins before the rental company was closing. He kindly asked them to accommodate me & to give me a good car. In 2 minutes there was an Uber outside waiting for me. Rob carried my items & put me in the car. The accident occurred on 4/12 & my car was ready on 4/23, earlier than projected. During that time, I spoke to Rob & David who kept me informed of what was going on. When I got my car, I cried. My car looked just as new as when I got in. They fixed it, detailed it & cleaned it! The quality of work done on my car was impeccable. My car is running great. David suggested that I get a dash cam. Can you believe the next day, he sent me his recommendation & offered to install it? When I was about to leave the shop with my car, there was a car parked in a way that would have been challenging for me to exit. One of the mechanics, who was about to clock out, helped me position my car so I could exit comfortably. Lastly, the day I was picking up my car, there was another customer who was having trouble getting her car from another mechanic to the auto shop. Employees from the shop tried speaking to the other company to rectify the issue. What company do you know does this? What I witnessed was consistency in their practices. I know I wrote alot, and I am extremely sorry. I really could write more b/c there is more. But this has turned into a dissertation. You should get a degree just by reading this review. But I know we all look at the reviews in faith hoping to see something that meets our expectations. Our money & time are valuable & we don't want to waste it. When we pay for a service, we want quality, do we not? We don't want to invest our money into a company that is not going to do right by us. And with so many options, the search can be overwhelming & frustrating. I don't know what your experience is going to be like. The circumstance will determine the type of service you'll get. But the customer service shouldn't be much different from mine. Whatever you decide, I pray that you will get your car fixed. But I really hope you give them a chance to impress you.

These guys are did a road tow for the NYPD on my car. When we went to retrieve it on 2 occasions with dealer, and authorization, they refused to return the car. With the owner citing he is a retired police officer refused to return the car and advised to go and update title then come back for the vehicle. He violated many laws in that circumstance. NYC Administrative Code § 20-509(b) Violation: Failure to notify the owner of the vehicle’s location after towing. Details: Towing companies must provide written notice to the owner within 24 hours of towing, including the vehicle’s location. Transferring the vehicle to the NYPD pound without proper notice violates this requirement. NYC Consumer Protection Law (Admin. Code § 20-700) Violation: Deceptive or unfair business practices. Details: Refusing a valid notarized authorization letter from the titled owner (dealership) and demanding title in the possessor’s name misleads consumers about their legal rights. Conversion (NY Common Law) Violation: Wrongful exercise of control over another’s property. Details: Retaining the vehicle despite lawful authorization from the dealership constitutes unlawful interference with possessory rights. NYC Administrative Code § 20-509(c) Violation: Failure to release a vehicle upon proof of lawful possession. Details: NYC law allows authorized users (with notarized permission) to retrieve vehicles without requiring title ownership. Refusing the dealership’s letter violates this provision. Breach of Contract (NY Common Law) Violation: Failure to honor implied or explicit storage/towing agreement. Details: By refusing to release the vehicle despite valid authorization, Plaza Body Shop breached its duty to comply with lawful retrieval requests. Here are facts about our experience with Plaza Body Shop, 2699 Nostrand Avenue, Brooklyn. Our Acura RDX was towed there for repair after an overnight hit-and-run. Driving it away from the shop when they released the car to us stating repairs were completed, we heard a jarringly loud rumbling coming from under the car. We returned immediately and a mechanic/technician who then rode with us around the block confirmed the sounds. When we asked how whatever this was could have been missed, the rep who'd released the car to us stated, "We stopped doing test drives to reduce liability." This may or not be the case but it's what he told us. The shop then kept the car to address the sounds, which we were told emanated from the engine mounts! We were shocked at what might have happened had we driven the car at speed, with or without any quick maneuvers, on the Belt Parkway or BQE. The work description they provided to us only says "Car making a noise; Motor mounts messed up; New motor mounts and test driven car" and the shop has so far refused to give us an appropriately professional re-written description of what exactly the accident did to the motor mounts that they failed to spot and correct before allowing us to drive off. Less significant but still a fact, they have as yet not fully compensated us for all expenses related to our experience with Plaza Body Shop which they promised to cover.

I had the greatest experience. Kenny and Ashley are the best. My car was an accident. The right side, front hood and headlights were damage. At first, I was upset until I met the staff at Honda plaza. I was taken care of very well. I’m a DJ and Ashley took care of me very well. During the time of the repairs, she gave me a awesome loaner vehicle. I was able to continue my work as a DJ. She accommodate me very well. Kenny did the detailing on my car. It looks brand new. I am not a car fanatic but my ride looks very good. I would highly recommend everybody to use Honda Plaza body shop.
