Performance Plus Quick Oil Change

This place is always reasonably priced. The guys here are so helpful and kind. Dan was a huge help today in getting my oil changed, and helping me with some system issues me car was having. He also referred me to another shop in the area to get my tires fixed since the last shop I took them to had installed them backwards 🤦🏻‍♀️

Been going here for many years. Tony and his team there are amazing, informative and attentive! Always feel welcomed and appreciated. I feel better knowing that they checked all my fluids, tires, wipers, filters and inform me about additional services they offer for my vehicle. Free car wash voucher with every service is a bonus!

I had been going to Performance Plus and was always satisfied with my service. But I was stupid and decided to try some place new. Not only was it more expensive - they didn't re-assemble things correctly afterward and caused me major problems. The guys are Performance Plus fixed all their mistakes quickly and made my car safe to drive again. I have learned my lesson, and I will be a loyal customer from now on.

I have been bringing my vehicles here for ~4 years. Came in the other day for a routine oil change. When the technician asked if I wanted to go with the same oil, my exact response was “as long as that’s what’s recommended”. Near the end of the oil change, I could hear the technicians talking to each other, overhearing phrases like “low oil” and “dirty oil”. When the technician approached me once the oil change was complete, his only words were the total that was due with the write up/bill already printed. I asked what they were talking about earlier, and he began to inform me that my vehicle was losing/burning oil, partially due to the fact I was using a lower grade oil than is recommended by the manufacturer.(??)A) did I not make it clear I wanted what was recommended? B) was anyone going to tell me about these seemingly serious issues with my vehicle? I had to ask about it for them to tell me about any of it. I was stunned reading the technician notes afterwards on my receipt that included: -low oil -dirty oil -dry dipstick -dirty oil after oil change All with no intention of letting me know. The cherry on top was today, a week later, taking my vehicle to a different oil change shop to get the correct oil, and because I had noticed the past few days my vehicle was running hotter than usual upon startup, accompanied by a burning smell. I was informed that the oil plug was left hand-tight, leaking oil all over my skid plate and presumably burning underneath my car. Do not recommend, I surely will not be revisiting this shop. Seems to have went downhill since ownership changed.
