Awesome experience! Gary was the best. I’m from the Bay Area and needed my brakes done in a timely matter. The guys were able to get the job done. Would definitely come back if I lived out here.

Pep Boys - Escondido is budget-friendly, and they deserve 10 stars. Jason and Gary are friendly and made me feel very welcomed. Thank god I went to Pep Boys - Escondido to get 2nd opinion for brakes. Originally, Firestone quoted me about $1,000 for brakes, including brake fluid but they barely went into details. After brake inspection, Jason explained to me in full details, but he brought to my immediate attention my front brakes are at 2mm. Jason gave me a quote, and it fits in my budget. Jason is honest, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. Firestone just lost a customer for being dishonest and ripping people off. For my next oil change, I’ll be using Pep Boys’ services again for maintenance check.

I like the part where they’re upfront and honest when they say they can’t get to you till a certain time they actually mean they can’t get to you to a certain time. I’ve been to so many places where they say drop it off and then the afternoon comes by and they still haven’t gotten to it. This Pep Boys on mission has always been there on time for me every time I’ve been coming here for over 20 years.

Well I’m a repeat customer. I suggested to a dear friend to have Pep Boys service her car. Just like me, she was met with top notch service. From check in to check out, service was a 10. Shoutout to Jason front desk and Cezar the mechanic for keeping it real with my friend’s car needs. 😎

On Easter Sunday my car got a flat tire. I called around to many shops and they were closed due to the holiday. I finally found Pep Boys and a service professional named Gary, who solved my problem in 2 hours! Gary was extremely communicative and called me multiple times to update me on the car’s status. He went above and beyond to find the correct tire for my car that even had a 50,000 miles warranty! Gary was able to complete my car 30 minutes earlier than originally quoted, which was a great surprise. Finally, Gary honored my new service first time 10% discount offer that I got from signing up for email marketing on their website! Gary and Pep Boys earned a new customer for life today and thanks for delivering a tremendous experience.

Solid experience. Good communication from the team. I dropped off the car at 9 and needed rear brakes and the rotors turned, car was available at 3:30. I was a bit surprised it took so long, I would not plan to wait for your car. Fair pricing.

My daughter and son-in-law got a flat tire on Easter, and Gary found a way to squeeze them in, despite having a light staff that day. He was courteous and went above and beyond to accommodate us and was amazingly professional and friendly. Can't say enough good things about his service and Pep Boys!

Gary, Jason, and everyone at the shop did me a tremendous favor in getting my cars engine fixed. I had visited a prior mechanic who tried to rip me off in my time of need, and the mechanics here at pepboys Escondido not only found the real causes for my issues but did so in a way that was fair and equitable for my wallet. I recommend these guys whole-heartedly.
