I scheduled an appointment with them last week to evaluate the check engine light on my truck. I was given the option to indicate that I would wait for my truck versus leaving it, when I made the appointment. I chose the option to wait for my vehicle. Upon arrival to my appointment I was told that the dealership policy was that a technician would not be available to look at my vehicle for 24-48 hours. When I explained that this was my only vehicle and that I had not made arrangements for a ride, nor was I told service would not occur on the day of my appointment , the service rider was emphatic and not particularly friendly in repeating that this was their policy and that my truck would have to be left at least another day for service. When I spoke with the service manager, he too repeated that this was their policy and nothing was to be done on the day of my appointment. When I asked why I wasn't told this on the phone, he said, "they don't tell you this on the phone, because they want to get you in for service." Needless to say I find this policy ludicrous;, when you make an appointment the expectation is that you will have service at that time. Not informing me when I made the appointment that I would have to leave my vehicle is disingenuous and completely wipes out any trust I might have had in them. I canceled by appointment, told the service manager that I would no longer do business there, explained that this was disrespectful of my time and purposely disingenuous. Contrast this experience with what happened the same day when I visited Richard Kaye GMC in Anderson. Refer to my review there.

My last experience with Parks Buick on Laurens Rd was awesome. I took my car there to be serviced for an oil change just as I have been since 2021, and on this last visit, I was impressed with the service I received from Ryan in the service department. I purchased my Envision from this particular dealership in 2021 and if I'm being honest the only thing I was satisfied with after the purchase is the friendship that I have formed with Lyn Furrh. She has always been there for me when I call about any issues or concerns and when I take my car to be serviced because she remembers a past experience my husband and I had before we purchased the Buick Envision. I expressed my feelings to the service department manager Jonathan McLaughlin. Mr. McLaughlin apologized for the department's shortcomings and compted me an oil change. Since then I have noticed the service department step up to the plate, specifically one of the mechanics Ryan. One of the concerns I had was that there was no communication from the time I dropped my car off to be serviced unless I called to check on it but at my last car servicing, Ryan contacted me and kept me informed at all times. He was very informative and answered all of the questions I had in a way that was not only professional but also in a way that I could easily understand. There was what I thought was a discrepancy with the need for a future service on my paperwork and Ryan cleared that right up for me. He seemed to want to make sure I understood what happened and that I wasn't feeling like I was being taken for a ride for lack of a better term lol. Lyn always makes it her business to come check on me when she knows I'm there because she wants to make sure that I am satisfied with the services I receive. I was always so nervous when it came time to service my Buick but at this moment I can say I feel really good about having my car serviced with Parks Buick and I know that I am in the right hands if those hands belong to Lyn, Ryan, and/Jonathan.

Sleeze car dealership is first impression. I bought a car from them 9/28/23, after telling them up front for them not to add any of their warranties or service packages they still slid a $927 fee for me to take my car 30 miles up the road to have the oil changed. I did make them aware of it and told them that I did not want to be charged for that and the car salesman let me know that it's a done deal now that it can't be taken off or refunded buy them, it would be left up to Fidelity maintenance services and me following their strict guidelines for them to be refunded. I spent 6 1/2 hours at this place to be manipulated into paying $927 for oil change that I have to drive 40 mins. and be there before the shop closes. Impossiable for me to do. I called to explain what happened and I spoke to a guy who could careless. Service after the sale, probably the most important thing. If you do business here when you go into finance department make sure you can read the document screen. Sincerely To far to drive for oil change. Refund my money
