HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT BMW PARK AVE – THEY DAMAGED MY CAR AND TRIED TO COVER IT UP! I took my BMW to BMW Park Ave for a routine oil change, expecting the high level of care and professionalism that the brand is known for. Instead, I experienced the most shocking and disappointing service imaginable. Without my permission or even notifying me, they washed my car. When I went to pick it up, I was horrified to find swirl marks in circular motions all over the body paint. My car was in pristine condition before this—I had it professionally detailed less than two months ago, achieving a flawless, mirror-like finish. I am meticulous about its upkeep and only wash it by hand to preserve its condition. I confronted Zachary Gessay, who I had been dealing with from the start. His response was nothing short of appalling. He showed zero concern, had no interest in resolving the issue, and displayed a complete lack of communication and customer service skills. Unsatisfied, I escalated the matter to the director, David Bergamotto. It quickly became clear why this place is so poorly managed. His attitude was unprofessional, dismissive, and, quite frankly, insulting. After a lengthy and frustrating conversation, he offered me a $200 check to get my car detailed at another shop but insisted I sign a waiver promising not to take legal action against the company. This was his idea of a “solution” – they destroy my car’s flawless finish, and I’m supposed to clean up their mess somewhere else while giving up my legal rights? Absolutely unacceptable. But the nightmare didn’t end there. I later discovered they hadn’t even cleaned under the hood after the oil change, which made me seriously question whether the service was done correctly at all. How can I trust the mechanical work when they were this careless and dishonest about the rest? This experience has been beyond stressful. I am left with a damaged vehicle and immense frustration from dealing with a company that refuses to take accountability for their actions. I am pursuing legal action not only for the damage to my car but also for the emotional distress and inconvenience this has caused me. And here's what they don’t know: I have a small camera in my vehicle that recorded every moment since the car was taken from me, including the method of the wash they did and even the carelessness in how they treated the car over there. I also have all the emails between me and the service director, clearly documenting the lack of responsibility and professionalism from their side.

Most Disgraceful BMW Dealership Experience in 15 Years I’ve owned BMWs for 15 years and have had them serviced at dealerships from Raleigh, NC to BMW Atlantic City, BMW Springfield, and BMW Tenafly. Never have I experienced such an absolute lack of care, professionalism, and customer service as I have at BMW Park Ave. • Took my M2 in for an alignment, got it back with black stains on my brand-new interior (car has less than 1,000 miles). The excuse? The technician forgot to take his gloves off after working on the car. That’s not just careless—it reeks of unprofessionalism and a complete lack of attention to detail. • Break-in service: I explicitly requested no wash, and they ignored me. The advisor claimed they only hand-wash matte finishes, but I have full PPF and do not trust them to use the right products. A customer’s request should be honored—period. • The last straw? A stupid brake light issue on the rear window that just recently appeared—seven months after my tints were installed. The car isn’t even a year old, I’ve tracked it, and now suddenly this is a problem? I paid the $100+ to fix it because I refuse to lose sleep over something so minor, but it’s the principle that makes me want to choke on my own vomit. • And let’s not forget their completely absurd claim that my exhaust voided my warranty, only for them to backtrack and blame window tint instead. To top it all off, the manager never even responded to my email regarding these issues. In the event that this dealership wants to lie and pretend they tried to resolve this with me, I’m including screenshots of my email that was completely ignored. The reality is, this dealership operates on volume, not service. They don’t actually care about your business because they rely on pushing as many cars through as possible. If you’re expecting any level of personalized service or attention to detail, you won’t find it here. I was actually scheduled to bring my 2024 X7 in for routine maintenance last week, but after this disaster of an experience, I canceled the appointment and will gladly take both vehicles to BMW Tenafly instead. I’d rather drive further for respect and honesty than deal with this disgraceful service again. At this point, I would rather throw my cars in the river than trust this dealership with them again. Extremely Disappointing Service Experience I recently visited Park Avenue BMW for a routine oil change on my BMW X3M at around 9,000 miles. The service itself took about two hours, which was reasonable. However, after waiting, I was told that my tire had a nail in a dangerous spot and needed replacement. The advisor assured me that the replacement would take only 30 minutes, so I agreed. Two more hours passed, and only then did they inform me that they didn’t have the tire in stock and needed to order it. At that point, I had already wasted four hours at the dealership. Frustrated, I decided to take my car and visit a local tire shop to confirm the issue. To my surprise, the shop found no nail at all—just slightly low tire pressure. They refilled the air, and I only paid $15 instead of the $500+ the dealership quoted for a new tire. This experience left me feeling deceived and extremely disappointed with the service at Park Avenue BMW. Whether this was an honest mistake or an attempt to upsell an unnecessary tire replacement, I cannot trust this service department again. I strongly advise others to double-check their diagnoses before agreeing to any costly repairs at this dealership. (Additional Comment) I also find it very disappointing that the dealership responded by claiming they "can't find me in their system."
