EL CHE TRUCK AND TRAILER REPAIR CORP Introduce

EL CHE TRUCK AND TRAILER REPAIR CORP, located at 150 Central Ave, Teterboro, NJ 07608, USA, functions as a heavy-duty vehicle repair facility within the "Auto Repair Stations" category. This establishment primarily caters to the maintenance and repair needs of trucks and trailers, serving the vital commercial and logistics sectors in Teterboro and the surrounding areas. As a specialized repair shop, its operations are distinct from those servicing standard passenger vehicles, focusing on the unique demands and complexities of commercial trucking.

The environment of EL CHE TRUCK AND TRAILER REPAIR CORP, as suggested by its specialization, would be a robust and industrial setting. Such facilities are typically designed to accommodate large vehicles, featuring spacious bays, heavy-duty lifts, and specialized tools for truck and trailer components. While an inviting waiting area for drivers might be present, the primary focus would be on the operational efficiency of the repair bays. However, information from customer reviews indicates a potential for disorganization within the shop environment, with mentions of "rookie mechanics" and "disorganized people," and parts going missing. This suggests that while the physical infrastructure may be present for heavy-duty repairs, the internal organization and tidiness may vary, which can impact the customer experience. The location in Teterboro, a hub for logistics and commercial transport, is strategically chosen to serve the trucking industry, offering accessibility to those operating in and through the region.

EL CHE TRUCK AND TRAILER REPAIR CORP offers a range of services tailored to trucks and trailers. Based on general industry practices for "Auto Repair Stations" specializing in heavy vehicles and hints from customer feedback, these services would likely include:

  • Engine Repair and Overhauls: Addressing issues with truck engines, including diagnostics, head replacements, and potentially complete engine rebuilds.
  • Trailer Repair: Comprehensive services for various types of trailers, including structural repairs, electrical systems, lighting, and brakes.
  • Brake Systems: Inspection, repair, and replacement of air brakes, drums, and other components crucial for heavy-duty vehicle stopping power.
  • Electrical System Diagnostics and Repair: Troubleshooting and fixing issues with lighting, alternators, and other electrical components of trucks and trailers.
  • Suspension and Steering: Repairs to ensure proper handling and ride quality for heavy vehicles.
  • Oil & Lube Services: Routine maintenance including oil changes and lubrication for commercial vehicles.
  • Tire Services: Repair, replacement, and balancing of truck and trailer tires.
  • Computer Diagnostics: Utilizing specialized diagnostic tools for modern truck systems, including engine codes and electronic issues.
  • Valve Adjustments: As specifically mentioned in a negative review, this critical engine service would be part of their offerings, albeit with reported issues in execution.

The service quality, however, appears to be a contentious point according to the provided customer reviews. One review highlights a significant negative experience, citing prolonged repair times (a month and a half for a head replacement), concerns about "rookie mechanics," missing parts, and misdiagnosed or poorly executed repairs that led to further costly issues after the truck left the shop. Specifically, an unadjusted valve and oil leakage after repair are mentioned, forcing the customer to seek external help and incur substantial additional costs. Conversely, another review offers a positive perspective, recommending the shop for "truly professional mechanic" services, especially highlighting "Fabian" for his experience with Volvo trucks. This divergence in experiences suggests inconsistency in service delivery or potentially varying expertise among staff members.

Features of EL CHE TRUCK AND TRAILER REPAIR CORP, based on the provided information, would include its specialization in truck and trailer repair, a critical service for the local commercial vehicle industry. The presence of an owner (Fabian) who is noted for having "a lot of experience fixing trucks, especially Volvo," indicates that there is experienced personnel within the establishment, even if consistency across the team is questionable based on other feedback. The facility is set up to handle large vehicles, signifying its capacity for heavy-duty work. The phone numbers, (201) 933-2937 and +1 201-933-2937, provide direct points of contact for service inquiries. The negative review, however, points to problematic features such as disorganized operations, potential for misdiagnosis, poor communication from the owner, and a lack of accountability for mistakes, leading to significant financial burden for customers. These are crucial aspects for commercial vehicle operators who rely on their trucks for livelihood, and prolonged downtime or recurring issues can be extremely detrimental to their business.

Regarding promotional information, no specific campaigns or offers for EL CHE TRUCK AND TRAILER REPAIR CORP are detailed. Auto repair shops, especially those catering to commercial vehicles, typically promote themselves through:

  • Word-of-Mouth: Positive experiences lead to referrals within the trucking community.
  • Direct Marketing to Fleet Owners: Offering special rates or maintenance contracts for businesses with multiple vehicles.
  • Online Listings and Directories: Ensuring presence on platforms where truckers search for repair services.
  • Specialized Service Advertising: Highlighting expertise in particular truck brands (like Volvo, as mentioned for Fabian) or complex repairs.

Given the mixed customer feedback, potential clients are strongly advised to exercise caution and conduct thorough due diligence before entrusting their vehicles to EL CHE TRUCK AND TRAILER REPAIR CORP. It is recommended to contact them directly at (201) 933-2937 or +1 201-933-2937 to inquire about their services, obtain quotes, and potentially discuss the experience and qualifications of the specific mechanics who would be working on their vehicle. For significant repairs, getting a clear understanding of the repair process, timelines, and a detailed breakdown of costs would be prudent. Furthermore, seeking multiple quotes and comparing service quality, as highlighted by the contrasting reviews, is a wise strategy for truck and trailer owners in need of repair services in the Teterboro area.

EL CHE TRUCK AND TRAILER REPAIR CORP Customer Reviews

Found this place by another mechanic who recommended me to this shop . First off my truck was in this shop for a month an half. For a head replacement.Alot of rookie mechanics. Owner is always mad has to chase him around. . They will mess up on parts and blame it on the last mechanic Only person that has a little knowledge of trucks is the owner of the shop and most of the time he’s never around.screw and nuts will go missing and other parts. Very disorganized people. I had to go day by day to look at them to finish my truck, spend entire day watching them . After getting my truck back. truck had no power kept telling the owner of this issue he said truck runs good, you should fine. At the last day I kept hearing a ticking noise. After taking to another mechanic they discover they didn’t adjust the valve correctly floor mat was broken a-lot of oil coming from behind the engine. New mechanic show me how bad they job was .Worst mistakes to take my truck here . Now i have to pay almost 6 thousand to get it fix the mess they did. I haven’t even ran 6000 miles after being fix. While i was there i hear some many stories of other trucker this people has mess up they truck up.
