Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers

We had a nail in our passenger rear tire for one of our work vans and decided to call Monro Auto Service for a quick repair. Upon dismantling the tire from our truck, there was a little mishap which we understood. In the meantime, the mechanic threw on the spare and ordered a brand new tire for our vehicle. Now, this took place right before the New Year, so Monro had ordered the tire and had us come in right after the holiday to put the new tire on the our vehicle. Monro Auto service was efficient and diligent, but most importantly, honest and courteous to us. For the whole service and installment of the BRAND NEW tire, Monro Auto service charged us nothing. The whole service and the new tire was free of charge. I would recommend Monro Auto Service to anyone that needs auto service in Erie, Pennsylvania. They are the best. Thank you for taking care of us Monro.

Two new tires and inspection, while I waited. Was given the cost before any work was done...surprise, surprise the total cost was less than they said. The guys there are a hoot. You don't feel like a stranger. I would go there again.

Dylan was very quick, efficient and knowledgeable. My inspection and tire change appointment went smoothly. Will be back in April with our other vehicle.

Very friendly staff. Quick work for an oil change and tire rotation. Unfortunately, I asked them to check out my front end, as I was hearing an unsettling noise. Being on a road trip, I was anxious to make sure my truck was safe to drive. I don't think they did inspect it. A few hundred miles later, I had to make an emergency stop due to bad wheel bearings. So I would recommend them for the basics but not diagnostics. Edit... I'm removing a star because it became clear the tire rotation probably didn't even happen. The shop that changed my bearings noted how long it took to remove the lugs due to rust. It wouldn't have been that hard if the tires were rotated less than a week prior.

I called at 8 am and they got me in at 10. Found the problem easily. They knew it was a common problem with this make/model so they keep the parts in stock. Got it fixed in under 2 hours and under $300 including parts. They even looked over my car and let me know about possible upcoming expenses I may need for inspection. I am so thankful for their help bc we only have one vehicle that we rely on for everything and it would've messed a lot of things up for me if I couldn't get it fixed in a timely and uncostly manner.

We called the 26th st. Munro location due to a slow tire leak. Not only did they get us in immediately, they removed and repaired the nail causing the leak. Some shops would claim it was too close to the sidewall and say you have to buy a new tire. They did great work in about 30 minutes to get us on the road again. We're from Michigan, but if ever a need would arise again, we would choose Munro Tire and Auto center again!!
