Was never a Ford guy, or owner, til I got this Explorer. Once you buy a car, service is important. One reason I love my car, which is six years old and has 100k miles, is because of their service department. I have known Brian, my service guru, for 15 years, and he has never steered me wrong. I will probably get another Ford in part because I know Brian and the service department is there.

Promise service when you're buying, now it's two weeks to even get in the doors. Service delayed is service denied. After buying my last 3 new cars there, I'm completely done with 'em!

Extremely Disappointed with Service and Vehicle Quality I wish I could put a negative star. I purchased a 2020 Ford Escape from Liberty Ford Aurora in December 2023, including a protection warranty. Just three days after driving off the lot, I had to return the vehicle due to serious transmission issues. They kept the car for nearly three weeks to replace the transmission. Less than a month later, I had to bring it back for the same issue. Since then, it has been in and out of their service department six times for transmission problems—and they have now replaced the transmission three times. The issue still isn’t resolved. To make matters worse, the customer service is unacceptable. Janet in the service department has consistently been rude and unhelpful. She often claims the service manager is unavailable, making communication and resolution even more frustrating. What’s also troubling is that every time the vehicle is serviced under the warranty, the dealership profits—while I’m left without reliable transportation. I expected better from a Ford dealership. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing but stressful, time-consuming, and costly.
