Ruben is the Senior Sales Consultant who helped Cameron he gave Cameron his fully undivided attention & we test drove the car, Cameron said, mom he made me feel so comfortable. I took my car in to have the sun visor repaired as it was broken. After leaving my car for 2 hours, they came back with a "Repair Estimate" for $595.51 plus tax of $56.35. So a total of $651.86 FOR A SUN VISOR!!! Aren't they supposed to be "The Helpful Honda People?" Price gouging at it's finest at this place! Absolutely unacceptable. I went on Amazon and found a perfect match for $31.00 and my brother in law installed it in 10 minutes. Needless to say, I'll never go back to this dealer. Beware!!!

I was scheduled for a service appointment this morning to address a recall notice for the fuel pump and a routine service. When making the appointment, I specifically inquired if the recall part was in and could be done at the same time as the service. I was assured that they had the part and it could be done at the same time as the service. When I arrived for the appointment, I was informed that they have not received the part for the recall, and that the person doing the scheduling did not check with the mechanics to see if the part was in. Why waste customers time in this way?

I sent my son in with my Pilot for inspection after another shop serviced the car and noted damage to the axel. Santa Monica Honda provided a very lengthy list of things needing immediate repairs, including changing brake fluids, replacing cabin and engine filters front and rear brakes, etc. they quoted him thousands for the repairs. I called the shop and they claimed to have done a full inspection of the car and everything needed repairs. That鈥檚 when I pointed out that I had just done a large number of things three weeks earlier. The rep then immediately changed his statement and told me the items were just on the schedule and they only checked their records to see if things were done and concluded they had no record of the repairs so they thought they needed fixed. He admitted they did not check the air filters or the brake fluids or several other things, even though they gave my son a long list and tried to get him to agree to the repairs. I told my son to collect the car. We took it to a reputable shop and had them look at it. THEY CONFIRMED the repairs suggested we鈥檙e not needed. Furthermore, they fixed the axel for a fraction of what Santa Monica Honda wanted to charge. Never again. Santa Monica Honda did not even check things to see they were new before trying to con my son into replacing them. Really Honda how long does it take to inspect a cabin air filter to see it was brand new before you claimed it needed replacement? (And that was just one of the several repairs they recommended). I鈥檓 very disappointed in this dealer.
