Alan Joslin is great! Brought my car in for a check engine light, and had the issue repaired same day. Far better experience than the VW Service team in Escondido. This is a well run service dept with very competent staff.

Hi Rachel, thank you. Alan and Ricardo in Service are great. I've mentioned this more than once, but I am always less than thrilled to talk to the 2 girls that answer the phone / help with payments and or loaner cars. It is very obvious to me that they don't smile, are not friendly, and give off an attitude, which I'm old enough and experienced in everyday human action and Sales most of my life to know that, at some point, some is going to respond that, " they are shy," or something to that effect. Not polite of friendly is my experience. And as much as I really don't want to take time out of my day to write this, with the concern that it will fall on deff ears, or resistance, I feel it's the right thing to share. Perhaps they are daughters of the owner, or some scenario like that. Also, I do not have to higher people, so as much as I hear the job pool for these types of positions is not very high, i'm sure the company could do better. A smile. Some indication that they want to help, or even be there is not too much to ask. I've over shared perhaps. My apologies if so, but there you go.

My experience with service at Herman Cook is always fantastic. Service reps are friendly and always keep me updated on the progress of my appointment. I've been to other dealers for service and Herman Cook is superior.

The service team was across the board customer-oriented and displayed many customer-service oriented behaviors. The helpfulness displayed went above what could be described as basically necessary and showed true awareness of what the term "service" means.

We have been going to Herman Cook VW for servicing needs for years and have been very happy with the results. Our recent experience was no exception. The service was excellent and the work was timely completed. A special recognition goes to our service advisor Alan Joslin.

After contacting four other dealerships (Murrietta, Escondido, San Diego, and Huntington) for help, THIS was the only one to proactively suggest solutions rather than tell me why they couldn't help. I had no issues getting throught to the service department and Ricardo was very informative, empathetic, and professional. I will follow up with another review after service is complete on my vehicle but, as it stands, this is one of the most honest and transparent service centers in our area. I sent my vehicle here for service.
