Gerber Collision & Glass

In the past I’ve chosen my dealership & other locations for windshield replacement. I decided to try Gerber because I’ve used their auto body services and have never been disappointed. I can’t say the same for their subsidiary Glass America. Customer service is mediocre by phone. The install tech arrived much earlier than I requested so, I couldn’t oversee the work. I had to drop my vehicle off at a friend’s. When I retrieved my vehicle today I found that my windshield was replaced with an aftermarket windshield! I fully expected an original manufacturers windshield replacement! I am not happy about this! As far as the replacement he did the job. No issues that I can tell. Lesson learned.

HORRIBLE service! DO NOT take your car here for any repairs unless you want to pick up your car after one month. When I dropped off my car, first of they told me 9 business days. Second, 21 days and third a few more days. They kept waiting on the parts then tells me the technician couldn’t find a part they ordered. Communication was horrible as well. The so called Manager, Robert said he’ll call me a certain time and never did. I had to follow up with the call after 3 hours just to hear their next excuse. My husband finally picked up the car, the headlights were uneven and there was a fog inside the headlights. I complained to my insurance claim adjustor and told them that my husband used an aftermarket lightbulb. The fogged and uneven lights happened before my husband tried to switch out his lightbulb from yellow to white lights. Took it to the dealership for an estimate of the repair and was informed that “the shop” did a horrible job on the headlight repair. Will never trust Gerber Collision or refer to anyone!

Should stay away! I been meaning to express how displeased I was in this location, how I was mistreated by their team. I was unfairly treated, they also lied to us! I had a dent on my front hood, obviously I went to different places to get estimate. Other than two different shop, I actually went to the Gerber on Ogden first, I was treated fairly and they gave me an estimate Because of the Rt 59 location is closer to me, I scheduled an estimate appointment with the Route 59 location. I had a last min meeting got called into work but didnt want to reschedule so I asked my gf to drop off for estimate, oh boy was I wrong! Upon her dropping off, they somehow found out I already had an estimate with Ogden and told my gf that the Ogden location provided a very nice estimate even tho they could charge more. Told my gf that they will do their best and repair the car according to Ogden estimate. Since the Ogden location estimate was the cheapest I was going to go with them and since the Rt59 location told my gf they would honor the estimate she went with them.... Upon my gf telling me she gave permission for them to make the repair, I immediately called them to ensure what she told me were right. They told me the car is already in the shop making repair but make no promise in honoring the Ogden quote! I told them that wasnt what the agent told my gf but he said they never make no promises! I asked the guy to stop and will pick up the car but he told me the work already started and wont releases unless I pay for full! Since I was at work I asked my dad to go but do not talk to them, according to my dad, my car was just sitting inside no one were making any repair(he was outside for 30mins)! When I finally make it there, they were closed my car was inside. I believe they were just afraid I may come drive my car away so even when they were not making the necessary repair they just keep my car inside Few days later, they called me to pick up my car, SURPRISE...they didnt honor the Ogden quote and charged me additional fee. I expressed my displease and even talked to the 'manager' I was told they do not remember making any promises and that I have to pay in order to get my car Please beware this location is dishonest and would make lies to con their way getting customers!!

Had my jeep serviced here almost 2 years ago. I originally had damage near the front passenger wheel which was fixed. But they removed the back window seal strip even though it wasn’t damaged and didn’t need to be removed, they explained the part was on back order every time I tried to call to have it replaced. Seems as though they used mine for another vehicle, and now give me the run around when I ask for it to be replaced.Very shady

I used Gerber for a claim through my insurance. I had some damage on my back bumper that needed attention. The team was able to fit me in for an estimate almost immediately. We were able to schedule repair for the following week. The team accommodated my schedule and made it easy for me to get them my car. Luke was extremely detailed on the work, from start to finish. The front desk were very polite and kind. The work was done in 2 days and i was able to get my car from them right away. They showed me the work, went over the invoice and thanked me for my business. Great service & Quality repair. Thanks Team!!
