Extreme 4 Wheel Parts-Off Road Truck & Jeep 4x4 Parts Introduce
For enthusiasts of off-road vehicles, trucks, and Jeeps, specialized shops offering parts and installation services are crucial. Extreme 4 Wheel Parts-Off Road Truck & Jeep 4x4 Parts, located at 2230 Marlton Pike W, Cherry Hill Township, NJ 08002, USA, operates within the platform category of Auto Repair Stations, aiming to serve this niche market. This establishment, accessible by phone at (856) 528-3890 or +1 856-528-3890, has undergone a recent change in ownership and branding, shifting from its previous identity as "4WP" to its current "Extreme 4WP." This transition appears to have significantly impacted the customer experience, as detailed in recent public reviews.
Regarding the environment at Extreme 4 Wheel Parts, based on the nature of the services offered—specializing in off-road truck and Jeep parts and installations—one would typically expect a facility equipped for significant vehicle modifications. This would include large bays, specialized lifting equipment, and a showroom or parts counter for Browse and purchasing aftermarket components. However, the available customer feedback doesn't provide specific details about the physical layout or ambiance. Instead, the recent reviews heavily emphasize the operational environment, particularly concerning the quality of work and customer interactions. The descriptions suggest a breakdown in internal processes and a lack of consistent standards. The reported issues, such as exposed wiring and loosely mounted components, indicate an environment where precision and thoroughness may be compromised. The implied atmosphere, derived from the negative experiences, is one of disorganization and a lack of accountability, contrasting sharply with the professionalism expected from an Auto Repair Station handling complex vehicle modifications.
As an Auto Repair Station specializing in off-road vehicles, Extreme 4 Wheel Parts theoretically offers a range of services tailored to truck and Jeep enthusiasts. These services would typically include the sale and installation of aftermarket parts such as lift kits, suspension systems, tires, wheels, lockers, gears, winches, lighting, bumpers, armor, and other off-road accessories. The intention is to provide comprehensive solutions for vehicle customization and performance enhancement for 4x4 applications. Historically, under its previous incarnation "4WP," the establishment was known for undertaking significant projects like 3-inch lifts, new suspension, front and rear lockers, and gearbox reductions, with customers reporting good success. However, post-rebranding to "Extreme 4WP" and with the change in ownership, mechanics, and service personnel, the nature and quality of services rendered have come under severe scrutiny. Recent customer accounts describe services, even seemingly straightforward installations like lights and switch mounts, being performed incorrectly, with critical errors such as exposed wiring, unsecured components, and a general lack of professionalism in the execution. The concern extends to safety-critical aspects, as evidenced by a report of a missing control arm bolt after a major installation, rendering the vehicle unsafe to drive. While the list of services offered likely remains broad in theory, the practical delivery and quality of these services have been consistently challenged in recent feedback.
The features of Extreme 4 Wheel Parts, as perceived through recent customer experiences, present a significant deviation from what one would expect from a reputable Auto Repair Station. The most prominent feature, unfortunately, appears to be a decline in service quality and technical proficiency. Customers report that installations are performed incorrectly, indicating a lack of experience or attention to detail among the current mechanics. Another critical feature highlighted is poor communication skills from staff and management, leading to delays and a lack of transparency regarding work progress. Furthermore, the establishment is characterized by a perceived lack of accountability for mistakes. The refusal to take responsibility for critical errors, such as a missing control arm bolt, and the subsequent demand for customers to bear additional costs (e.g., tow and rental car fees) for rectifying their errors, point to a significant flaw in their customer service policy. The severe drop in customer satisfaction, as reflected in low online review scores on platforms like Google and even their own Facebook page, is a stark feature of the current operation. This indicates that reliability and trust, which are paramount in the auto repair industry, are currently significant weaknesses for Extreme 4 Wheel Parts. The distinction between the old "4WP" and the new "Extreme 4WP" is also a key feature that customers are actively trying to highlight, warning others that the positive reputation of the former does not apply to the latter.
In terms of promotional information, there are no specific deals or advertisements mentioned in the provided data. Instead, the most dominant "promotion" available to local users comes from the overwhelmingly negative customer feedback, which serves as a potent warning. The phrase "BUYER BEWARE" is used directly by a customer, advising against doing business with the rebranded "Extreme 4WP." Reviews explicitly state, "THIS NEW STORE IS TERRIBLE!!! Do not let them work on your off-road vehicle!!!" and "YOU WILL BE A FOOL IF YOU READ THIS REVIEW AND DO BUSINESS WITH THEM 'HOPING' FOR THE BEST. You've been warned." This collective customer voice, widely accessible online, acts as a powerful counter-promotion, urging potential clients to seek services elsewhere. The stark contrast between the previous positive reputation of "4WP" and the current negative experiences with "Extreme 4WP" is a crucial piece of information for any prospective customer. While the business still exists at 2230 Marlton Pike W and can be contacted at (856) 528-3890, the prevalent message from recent customers is a strong recommendation to avoid the establishment and consider "giving your service to a mom and pop shop that will be considerate of your time, and be able to better serve you and your vehicle."

BUYER BEWARE: the store in Cherry Hill that was called "4WP" and is featured on Google and "Extreme 4WP" (which it is now called) are not the same franchise!! "4WP" has been around for years servicing the off-road community and most of the reviews (especially the positive ones) on Google relate to "4WP", NOT "Extreme 4WP"! 4WP was recommended on forums like Tacoma World to be a reputable place to shop, so in 2023 I did $22k in business with them (3 inch lift, new suspension, front and rear lockers, gearbox reduction, etc.) with good success. I don't know all of the details, but somehow "4WP" crashed out and around late 2024/ early 2025 they switched owners, mechanics, service people etc. and rebranded themselves as "Extreme 4WP". The problem is:... THIS NEW STORE IS TERRIBLE!!! Do not let them work on your off-road vehicle!!! I went back recently to have some lights installed on my roof rack, a Switch Pro mounted on a vertical shelf, a high clearance muffler and more installed on my 2012 Tacoma. The TLDNR is that EVERYTHING they were supposed to install, except for the muffler (still to early to tell...), was installed incorrectly. It was as if they've never done this before. They left exposed wiring outside the truck, inside the truck it's a rats nest of wires that I can't make sense of. They did not mount the switch pro to anything, and refused to install the vertical tray, so everything just bounces around loosely inside the hood. This is a potential fire hazard waiting to happen. I'll now have to pay someone else to redo the work I had then do. They also had poor communication skills and were late completing the work. I could go on, but you don't need to believe me... Just read the recent reviews on Google -They're all the same. In fact, if you go to the Extreme 4wp Facebook page, at the time of this writing, their review score is only at 2.5 out of 5 stars. ON THEIR OWN BUSINESS PAGE!! Lol. I'm an idiot for doing business with them. I should have checked first. YOU WILL BE A FOOL IF YOU READ THIS REVIEW AND DO BUSINESS WITH THEM "HOPING" FOR THE BEST. You've been warned.

Not sure why this didn't post before, but this place has terrible customer service. My husband went there in september of 2023 to get new tires, wheels and a lift on his truck. We had a great experience setting that all up. They had the truck for about 3 days or so and then we went to pick it up. We live about 25 minutes from the store and have to drive major highways. About 2 days later I was driving the truck and felt something not right when turning. The following day by husband and I went out in the truck again and as he was backing out of the spot I noticed the front passenger wheel was tilting outwards. He then tried to pull back into the spot and the tired stayed tilted in. As he would turn the wheel the tire would just stay put. We called the store and they wanted us to bring it in. Again we live about 25 minutes from the store and stressed the truck was not drivable. We let them know that they needed to get a tow truck out there for the truck. The store wanted us to pay for the tow, even though this was their mistake. They finally set up the tow for us. A day or so later the tow company came to get the truck. I asked the gentleman, with the tow company, if he could see what was wrong with the wheel and he discovered that the technician didn't insert the bolt that connects the control arm to the tire and that it was missing completely. Needless to say, we were extremely upset and infuriated. The truck got dropped to the store again to get fixed. And again we were out a car for another 3ish days, having to pay for a rental (rental car for the initial work, and a rental car while they were getting the tow company, and a rental car for when the truck was there again. When it came time for us to pick up the bolt, the representative from the store told us that they were not responsible for the "missing bolt" and that there is not any proof that the bolt didn't fall out on while driving the car after the service. Which I believe is completely ridiculous due to the fact that if/ when driving the car, the wheel could have fell off the car and could have killed us or anyone else on the road, and they claim they wouldn't have been responsible. Any "car person" I told this story to told me that there is no way that this bolt could have just "fallen out" driving down the road. When we got to the store, the representative of the store was extremely unprofessional about the whole situation. We got a half-ass apology and they made us pay for the fixing service. They did not offer a rental car, nor to pay for the rental car. When I pushed the severity of the situation, they didn't even offer to refund us any of the thousands that we paid initially for the tires, wheels, and lift on it. Considering there are lots of 1 star reviews for this store, this just adds to the mix. We definitely do not recommend this shop to anyone, no matter what you want to get done to your vehicle. You're much better off giving your service to a mom and pop shop that will be considerate of your time, and be able to better serve you and your vehicle. Not to mention, you'll get polite service with a smile, and they would make a situation like this right.

They did a wonderful job, hooked me up with a nice carpeted plywood panel that holds my fridge slide. These guys are super professional and know exactly what they are doing. I will definitely go back to them for my next project.

What a fabulous job they did on my new locking mechanism. Jen was amazing. She knew exactly what I needed and ordered it for me. The men did a meticulous job installing them. I would recommend this please and these people who work there anytime. Thank you!!!
