Mercedes-Benz of Cherry Hill Service Introduce

As an official dealership service center within the "Auto Repair Stations" category, Mercedes-Benz of Cherry Hill Service is located at 2151 NJ-70, Cherry Hill Township, NJ 08002, USA. With a primary focus on the maintenance and repair of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, this facility aims to provide specialized care for luxury automobiles. Their phone number is (856) 663-3200, which can also be reached at (856) 333-7287 for service inquiries, reflecting a dedicated line for service department communication. Being an authorized Mercedes-Benz service center, it is expected to adhere to the brand's stringent standards for quality, diagnostics, and genuine parts.

The environment at Mercedes-Benz of Cherry Hill Service is typically designed to reflect the luxury and prestige associated with the Mercedes-Benz brand. This implies a modern, clean, and well-organized facility. Customers generally anticipate comfortable waiting areas with amenities, although specific details were not provided in the given review. Dealership service centers often offer Wi-Fi, refreshments, and potentially a comfortable lounge. The physical layout would include a spacious service bay equipped with specialized tools and diagnostic equipment tailored for Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The expectation is a highly structured and professional atmosphere, focused on precision and efficiency in vehicle servicing. The parts department, crucial for any repair, is integrated within this environment, though one customer did note it was closed during their visit, highlighting the importance of checking operating hours. Service hours are generally Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with Sundays closed. This allows for ample opportunity for customers to schedule and drop off their vehicles.

Mercedes-Benz of Cherry Hill Service provides a comprehensive range of services specifically for Mercedes-Benz vehicles, upholding the manufacturer's standards. These services typically include routine maintenance such as A and B services (which cover oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and inspections), tire services (including rotations, balances, and replacements), brake system inspections and repairs, advanced diagnostics for engine and electronic issues, and general repairs. As highlighted in the provided customer feedback, they handle services like tire checks and identifying "another issue that needed fixing." Being a brand-specific service center, they utilize genuine Mercedes-Benz parts, which is a key selling point for owners who want to ensure their vehicle's integrity and performance are maintained with manufacturer-approved components. They also have factory-certified technicians with specialized training in Mercedes-Benz engineering, aiming to provide expert care. Beyond basic repairs, they would likely offer warranty work and recall services, which are critical for new vehicle owners. The service department is equipped to handle complex issues that require manufacturer-specific knowledge and tools, which independent shops may not possess.

The features of Mercedes-Benz of Cherry Hill Service, based on general expectations of a luxury dealership and the provided feedback, present a mixed picture. On the one hand, a primary feature is their specialization in Mercedes-Benz vehicles, offering factory-certified technicians and genuine parts, which is a significant advantage for owners of these high-value cars. This ensures that repairs and maintenance are performed according to the manufacturer's precise specifications. They are equipped to handle intricate diagnostic and repair procedures that are unique to Mercedes-Benz engineering. However, customer feedback reveals significant challenges in communication and customer service. One recurrent issue is difficulty in obtaining timely responses or quotes, with a customer expressing frustration over "trying to get a quote for the second issue" for "over two weeks" and reporting that "No one answers the phone or calls you back." Another concerning feature highlighted is potential unnecessary service recommendations and questionable pricing. A customer with a tire protection plan and only 15,000 miles on their car was recommended tire replacement for approximately $1,000, which they felt was "no sense" and "rude dismissed" when concerns were raised. This indicates a potential lack of transparency or willingness to address customer queries regarding service necessity and cost, despite the overall premium nature of the brand. While positive reviews for sales are often seen, the service department's efficiency and communication, particularly in follow-up and addressing customer concerns about pricing or service necessity, appear to be areas where improvement is needed to consistently meet customer expectations for a luxury brand experience. The general positive ratings online (around 4.1 to 4.6 stars on various platforms) suggest that many customers have satisfactory experiences, often praising specific service advisors (such as Gene Kiefer and Ted Levine) for professionalism and care. However, the provided negative reviews underscore critical aspects that can significantly impact customer trust and loyalty.

For promotional information, Mercedes-Benz of Cherry Hill Service, like most dealerships, relies on its brand association and the perceived quality of manufacturer-backed service. Their primary promotional materials would emphasize the use of genuine Mercedes-Benz parts, factory-trained technicians, and adherence to manufacturer service guidelines, all aimed at preserving vehicle performance, safety, and resale value. They likely run service specials which are common at dealerships, such as discounts on specific maintenance packages, tire purchases, or seasonal inspections, though current specific offers were not provided in the immediate reviews. The online scheduling option found on dealership websites is a promotional feature that offers convenience to customers. However, the most compelling promotion for any service center comes from consistent customer satisfaction. While there are positive reviews online that praise the professionalism and care of certain individuals within the service department, the critical feedback regarding communication and potentially questionable service recommendations could inadvertently affect their promotional efforts by generating negative word-of-mouth. For local users, the choice to use Mercedes-Benz of Cherry Hill Service might stem from a desire for brand-specific expertise and genuine parts, but potential customers should be aware of the varied experiences reported regarding communication and service transparency, and are advised to seek clarity on pricing and service recommendations upfront. The dealer's response to the critical review, questioning if the customer used their service, further illustrates a challenge in acknowledging and resolving customer grievances, which can undermine promotional messaging about customer care.

Mercedes-Benz of Cherry Hill Service Customer Reviews

I got serviced (with luck) for my tires & they let me know I had another issue that needed fixing but the parts department was closed. So I picked the car up. Since then, I've been trying to get a quote for the second issue. But that's impossible. No one answers the phone or calls you back. The service scheduler is not sure about pricing, and will transfer you to the voicemails of other service agents. Been trying for over two weeks lol. Taking my car to a Mercedes in PA.

I used the service at this store and would strongly advise against it. I had a tire protection plan, and my car had only around 15,000 miles. Despite this, they recommended replacing the tires, which should not be necessary at such low mileage. Assuming it was a genuine tire issue, I proceeded with the replacement and was charged approximately $1,000. This made no sense to me. When I raised my concerns, no one attempted to address them, and I was rudely dismissed. I reported the incident when Mercedes requested feedback on my service experience. Then I used a different store.. Now, I drive a different brand car and have had no issues. ——— “The dealer’s response appears to question whether I used their service. Since I no longer drive this car, I won’t be spending any more time on this, especially after wasting two weeks trying to get an answer from them when the issue occurred. However, if needed, I can provide the service receipt.”

Had a recall because seatbelts didn't work. Made an appointment a month out. Took 12 days to fix while they waited on the part to come in. Had to keep calling to check the status because I was never updated.

I took my car to this place because I knew I had an oil leak that had to be fixed. I scheduled an appointment, but when I arrived they said they had many walk-ins that day so they would not be able to take a look at my car that day. It took several days for them to take a look at it and I had to call them and ask myself in order to get the diagnosis. Communication was not great. They told me that I had an oil leak and that my break pads needed to be fixed along with the right front axle. I got the oil leak/break pads fixed there and still smelled some burning while driving home, then took my car nearby to get the axle fixed. There, they told me they noticed an oil leak and that the front left axle needed to be fixed. My car must have had those problems prior to taking it to the Mercedes-Benz of Cherry Hill service and I was not informed of them. Overall, would not recommend due to poor communication, high prices compared to other places, and because they did not notify me of everything that was wrong with the car.

No one picks up service phone number and never return your call. The people answering the phones have no idea about the services offered. Clear disconnect between all of the service providers at the front who all told me different things about how long it would take me car to be serviced
