Diehl Chevrolet Service Customer Reviews

Worked with Beckie. She was prompt and professional. Kept me well informed and was proactive in providing updates. I bought an older model, low mileage vehicle, yet she still treated me like I was bringing home a new one. First class service was even provided after the purchase.

Had a 10:00 appointment for an oil change and thought I'd be in and out by 11;00 at the latest. They informed me that their was an update per GM for the radio. I could reschedule for the update or let them do it now. I agreed to wait and then was told the update was taking much longer than expected...not their fault but I would have thought they would have had a good idea about how long it would take. If I had known I was going to be there for 2 1/2 hours I would have rescheduled... I finally left there shortly before 12;30. I watched the tech close my hood and he left a big hand print on it. I am particular about my vehicles and think he could have prevented that. The service department couldn't give me a receipt because they hadn't received the necessary information from GM yet. They said they would email it to me but I haven't received it yet. It's been one week so I'll have to call them about the receipt.

This collision center has treated me great! I received weekly updates, anytime I had a question I would call and Kim always happily answered my questions without sounding frustrated. The other person who works in the office I wish I remembered her name was also great and always expressed if I had any questions to feel free and call. Thank you for turning my nightmare of a car crash into a great repair experience!!!

First the salesman was professional- trying his best to earn a commission. Then securing the information needed to execute the contract was not easy to come by since I didn’t live within the state; However I made it very easy to get the information they needed to seal the deal until this pandemic came about that prevented lots of transactions from occurring on many different ends. Most importantly-my DL for this state. They gave me a vehicle off their showroom floor to purchase with NMD That same day they gave me a vehicle and registration to ride on dealer tags. They also told me my bank has picked up my loan and my trade-in was taken care of with rebates! Well my bank isn’t open on Saturdays and they knew nothing about this loan and the only thing I had from this vehicle was a form they gave as a registration for me to drive with their tags. Fast forward I had moved, gave salesman a copy of my lease and due to pandemic hardship, applied for a loan at my bank, they communicate with each other and deduce that the addresses doesn’t match so this dealership wants to pull more credit and go back to the SAME PLACES!!!! This infuriates me when I get home later one evening after speaking to them and telling these people at the dealership not to pull my credit but making sure they have updated information that I wasn’t able to relay to salesman because he would never return my calls over a course of several weeks. Now I speak to finance manager and express my griefs and I get a call from salesman stating I need to return my vehicle because the bank is not financing it any longer! I was given 24 hours to get that matter fixed or bring vehicle back- I got text from salesman @5pm next day when I got off work asking if I got hold of them? 20 minutes later same person now... the one that would NOT return any of MY CALLS! Demanding a response or else the dealership would have to report the vehicle stolen!!!! Can you believe this here!?!? I went off on him because one that’s a threat! And I told him so and 2. Don’t ever send me another threatening message like that again in life! He said. This is Taylor’s protocol to “send idol threats such as this to customers “ and they think people want to do business with them afterwards? Why?!? So I gave my terms and that’s how they will receive this vehicle on my day off and not in the middle of some three ring circus act!!!

Their Service Dept. is WAY to expensive for stuff and when they were Taylor they had a mechanic that was suppose to do an oil change on my vehicle ( which I paid for ) BUT he actually DIDN'T do it. I know this because on my very next oil change I took my vehicle somewhere else and the mechanic at this other place said that my oil and filter was so bad he would have sworn I had over 100,000 miles on my vehicle which I didn't ( not even close ). He even showed me the filter and oil so that I could see how bad it was.

We had our tahoe in for service as it was intermittently not starting. After paying the $150 diagnostic fee, they said that they couldn't repeat the problem and found nothing wrong. Fast forward to this past Saturday, we were in Cleveland visiting our daughter, and the Tahoe would not start (same problem as before). We had to have it towed from Cleveland all the way to Hermitage.
