Conrad's Tire Express & Total Car Care

When making an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation, I gave them the year, make, and model. When I arrived days later, I was informed they didn't have the correct filter, so they called a local oil change place to buy one. After waiting for an hour, they finally pulled my SUV in for the service. A few minutes later the tech advised they didn't have the oil it required but asked if I wanted a different oil. Of course I said no. A second tech came out from the back and said he would NOT want to use any other oil than what was recommended by the manufacturer. I was told to call back on Friday to talk to the manager about getting the correct oil and what the cost would be. What a joke! They should be calling me, not the other way around. When I got back in my vehicle, they had a reminder sticker of when I needed to come back for the next oil change. They got that wrong too. My vehicle requires a change at 10K or 1 year, not at 6K. I know they are in the business of selling oil, but that is infuriating. I usually go to the dealership for any service but since this place was right around the corner I wanted to save time and thought they were reputable. When I got home, I called the dealership to schedule. I will never go to Conrad's again.

Bob L at Conrad's Tire Express sure knows how to treat people, what a great experience, these guys are gals have the knowhow to get you back on the road, they also have quality tires at an affordable price, treat yourself to amazing service. I'm the hubber that brings the rubber.

One of the best Car maintenance shops in the Akron Area. Their prices are very reasonable, their staff is true and honest. They never upsell or worry you into doing a maintenance / job. I’ve never had any problems here. I go for oil change / tire rotation and they are always great. 30 minutes - 1 hour in & out every time

Great price and service, completed sooner than promised. And the only non RV place that would change the tires on our camper. (RV shops are currently 2-3 months out on service appointments and couldn't wait that long)

Couple weeks ago I had a flat tire and came in 45mn til closing and they said they would not help me to come back another day. The older sounding guy was very rude to me. Especially for a place that takes walk in. A 1 tire plug Fix would have taken 15mns and they only had one car and 3 techs back there working. So I put air in my tire and went to NTB. They were closing in 5mns and they still helped me. He was so kind and I tipped the tech $20 since he stayed over to help me when I was in need. Just go to NTB. Conrad's does not care about you at all.

Bob was so very helpful! Took my call about an hour before close and told me to come right down to get my tire plugged.. they had to put the original tire back on as I was riding on a donut, plus my hubcap needed snapped back on, and they were done within the hour! Very reasonable and nice to work with. Waiting area was clean and stocked with drinks.

Women Beware! The stereotype is true here. The employees tried to upsell me twice when I brought my car in unexpectedly for a flat. They told me I badly needed breaks and I was informed by my long time mechanic two days later that my husband had my entire break system replaced a little more than a year ago. No one has the time or money for these games.
