Advance Auto Parts Introduce

Advance Auto Parts, located at 1817 Madison St, Clarksville, TN 37043, USA, serves the local community as a key supplier within the "Auto Repair Stations" platform category. While primarily an auto parts store, Advance Auto Parts plays a crucial role in supporting both professional mechanics and individual vehicle owners in maintaining and repairing their automobiles. This introduction aims to provide a detailed overview of what local users can expect from this establishment, combining general knowledge about auto parts stores with the limited specific information available online.

The environment of an Advance Auto Parts store is typically designed for efficient browsing and customer service. You can generally expect well-organized aisles stocked with a wide variety of auto parts, tools, and accessories. Products are usually categorized for easy navigation, making it simpler for customers to find what they need, whether it's specific replacement parts, maintenance items, or performance upgrades. The store environment often includes service counters where knowledgeable staff can assist customers with locating parts, answering questions, and processing transactions. Depending on the store size, there might also be designated areas for specific product types, such as batteries, tires, or performance parts. Cleanliness and a well-lit environment are generally prioritized to enhance the shopping experience.

As an auto parts store, the primary service offered by Advance Auto Parts is the sale of a vast array of automotive components. This includes replacement parts for various vehicle systems, such as brakes, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. Customers can typically find parts from a range of manufacturers, including both Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts and aftermarket options. The availability of both allows customers to choose based on their budget and specific requirements. Beyond replacement parts, Advance Auto Parts also stocks maintenance items like motor oil, filters, fluids, and windshield wipers. For those looking to enhance their vehicle's performance or appearance, the store usually carries a selection of aftermarket accessories and performance parts.

In addition to product sales, Advance Auto Parts often provides supplementary services to assist their customers. One common service is battery testing and installation. Staff can typically test your car battery and, if needed, assist with the installation of a new one. Similarly, some stores may offer services like wiper blade installation. Another valuable service is the loan-a-tool program, where customers can borrow specialized tools for specific repair jobs, often with a refundable deposit. This can be particularly helpful for DIY mechanics who may not need to purchase expensive tools for a one-time use. Advance Auto Parts also frequently offers services like oil recycling, providing a convenient and environmentally responsible way for customers to dispose of used motor oil.

A key feature of Advance Auto Parts is the extensive inventory they typically maintain. This broad selection ensures that customers have a higher chance of finding the specific part they need, whether for a common vehicle or a more specialized model. The availability of both in-store stock and the option to order parts that may not be immediately available is another significant feature. Knowledgeable staff who can assist with part identification and offer advice are also crucial. Employees at auto parts stores often have automotive backgrounds or are trained to help customers navigate the complex world of car parts. Many Advance Auto Parts locations also offer online ordering with in-store pickup, providing added convenience for customers who prefer to research and select their parts online before visiting the store.

Advance Auto Parts Customer Reviews

Doug was very unprofessional when being approached, platinum commercial account holder of this company I spend thousands of dollar at. Also was very quick to misjudge a young successful black owner (marckus mobile repair) for being a “A shade tree mechanic” and supposedly he is paying for his dumpster at his store out his pockets supposedly he claimed. This is a start and next I’ll be reaching to my great corporate guys with advanced with the next step of getting this handled.

You would think that a commercial customer who brings in thousands of dollars to this company would be treated with respect, but apparently Doug believes otherwise. I overheard Doug refer to my husband as a “shade tree”, I believe this is very unprofessional to call customers names and also discriminate against them. I hope no one else will be supporting this company.

I witnessed Doug unprofessionally approach Markus with marckus mobile repair saying he’s not going to let some shade tree guy dump car quest parts that are purchased by the same company he works for in his dumpster that he pays for. I’ve worked with marckus for 2 years now and never have I seen someone approach him in that manner or disrespect. Hope this is resolved until then I hope no one supports this location. I will not shop here myself highly unprofessional .

Very thankful for the good help I received testing and replacing my daughters car battery yesterday. Anna was so pleasant and professional, explaining the process to me along the way. She is a asset to the Madison Street location. Thanks, again, Anna!

Weird situation yesterday and I previously had a great review up for this location. I shop in here monthly and order my K&N products, oil filters, air and pick up a lot of cleaning products. With that said I can't remember one time when I had to return anything to any location unless they gave me a wrong part which happens. I go into the counter last night around 5:30 to return a Maguire's Ceramic Wax product that I decided to not use and go with a Chemical Guys product. I walk straight to the counter and let him know I needed to return the product. I still had the receipt to show proof of purchase and in fact I never even took it out of my car. He gave me a weird look and held up the bottle in the air looking to see if I used it...ok, I get it. He looks at the lid and you can clearly see it is clear, not a drop of wax. He looks at me awkwardly and asks if I had used it. I stated it never even came out of the car. He then gets quiet, takes off the lid and you can see there is not a drop of residue in or even on the top if the bottle. He again states are you sure and at this point I'm over this and irritated stating again, no, it was never even opened. He says the seal is broken. Why would I even take off the lid to look at the wax, if I was going to open it I would be using it. Silence, he finally gave me the refund but it was absolute bs and I will not go in there again after that visit. He needs customer service training in the worst way and if you had any questions about refunding me then look at my history. No refunds ever so they just lost my business....Sad
