If you’re looking for a transmission service, avoid this place at all costs. Worst service I have ever received. A simple job of replacing spark plugs took 2 weeks, They would give me their word on a day it would be finished and not pull through with their word. Their diagnostics on my truck was all wrong and they didn’t do the job correctly.

If you're looking for transmission service, avoid this place at all cost. The lady that owns it takes all the calls. She's nice enough but getting her to shut up long enough to speak is next to impossible. In fact, she talks so much that she doesn't listen to what you're saying and rights things down wrong. I told her that my daughter had an 03' Expedition and she wrote it down and quoted me for an Explorer. She quoted $1600 out the door to rebuild the tranny and when it was done, charged us and extra $60. She said it was because we told her the wrong vehicle type. The $60 wasn't a big deal but then, when my daughter picked it up, she got about 3 miles away from the shop and it died. They then claimed that it was probably the air intake valve but that they didn't check it because all we had asked for was a rebuilt tranny. After talking with several other shops, they all said that the valve is the first thing that they check before even moving to the transmission. We ended up taking it to the Ford dealership and got it taken care of correctly for an additional $475.

These guys are crooks, I took my truck first they took forever, second they didn’t fix it correctly. He claimed it was the clutch and I know it wasn’t clutch because I had just changed it 6 months earlier. Truck only worked for two days and then it was not shifting again, just the way it was when I first took it in. I gave him 3 chances to fix my truck and just kept saying it was air in the line. They don’t use genuine parts, all cheap auto zone stuff!! These guys are crooks bunch of ripoffs!!!!!! I payed 1000+ for nothing

Great energetic and friendly staff.. Prices are on a lil high side but you get what u pay for in quality and garuntee aswell as supporting a local family owned business.. Well trusted for a variety of automotive work especially transmission repairs. Also love the bird at the shop too

Terrible service! Took our truck here a couple of years ago because it wouldn't shift into 4WD. Was told we needed a new transfer case and paid roughly $2,500 for a rebuild. The rebuild came with a 1-yr warranty. Eleven months later, the transfer case went out. We returned to Wilson's for warranty service and it took them several weeks to even look at the truck. We were repeatedly told they were short-handed, yet other vehicles came & went. Clearly, they didn't want to spend the time on a warranty repair which wasn't going to generate any immediate income. They finally looked at the truck and tell us it will be covered under warranty. It takes a couple of weeks for them to get the replacement transfer case from the supplier (no, evidently, they don't actually rebuild the transfer cases themselves here at the 4x4 shop, but we weren't informed of that at the time). Then a couple more weeks for them to get around to installing the replacement transfer case. The truck was in their shop for TWO MONTHS to get 'warranty service'. And now, 12 months later, the replacement transfer case has gone out. The original transfer case lasted 25 years. But obviously, they are buying poor quality rebuilds that just won't last more than a year. STAY AWAY unless you want to waste your time and money. This place used to have a good reputation. But we will not return. Horrible customer service and inferior parts.
