DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. 2022 broken down on side of road because of a routine oil change !!! They overfilled it. It flushed into my engine. It was smoking my check engine light was on. I called brought it back sat there for 2 1/2 hours. Nothing was done. Do not take your car here. The only reason there’s one star is because I had to put something I would not give them any stars no stars WHATSOEVER! Absolutely horrible!!! This location makes your company look Thanks for nothing. I can’t believe a company would treat someone like this or allow them to have employees that do things like this. I have read some comments from other people who have been going here for years and they have said that they do not like this place anymore. Kim Gause, you were right to not feel comfortable. This place is terrible my 2002 Ford Explorer broken down on the side of the road right now and it was fine before I had any service done here I took it back. They did not tell me or explain to me anything and I am beyond frustrated. I have called back and they told my boyfriend something else do not take your vehicle vehicles here I CANNOT STRESS that enough! Unless you want them broken down on the side of the road!!! just a warning please do not take your vehicle here! I don’t have enough time to explain the ordeal that I went through here, but they tell me one thing and then I hear them talking to another guy in the shop, saying another. My car was smoking bad they were opening the doors. It was smoking so bad because a kid overfilled the engine oil and he didn’t empty it enough, but they didn’t tell me that it’s just a mess. They changed my oil three times. They attempted to flush it and said go on the freeway and try to flush it out I don’t know what the heck these people are talking about but don’t go there please! My sister used to go there all the time she will not go back now after my experience. They don’t make it right they tell you all the stuff on their playback recordings, but they don’t make anything right. The photo below was from the first time I went there then I took it back sat there for 2 1/2 hours. He said he told me to take it to the dealer, but he definitely did not. Please don’t take your car here! Please! I had a brand new car with nothing wrong with it and my check engine light went on maybe if you’re a man they may treat you different but they treat women Absolutely horrible thanks a lot Valvoline for nothing. You’ve made my life miserable. I cannot get to and from work, they denied when I called back. It’s the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. My check engine light was on. I had nothing wrong with my car before that and they will not accept the responsibility of course! I will never bring it there again any vehicle I ever have I think my car is done. I recently visited the Valvoline Oil Change location in Dearborn, and I had a great experience from start to finish. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted in a timely manner and it felt good to be checked in and spoken to before the service even began—it set a very professional and welcoming tone. Karon, the technician who worked on my vehicle, was extremely helpful, kind, and understanding. He took the time to explain things clearly and made sure my car was well taken care of. Eric also assisted during the service and was very knowledgeable and efficient, which helped the whole process move along quickly and smoothly. I’ve been a long-time Valvoline client, and since I’m new to the Dearborn area, it was a relief to find a local spot that maintains the same level of professionalism and reliability I’ve come to expect. This location is fast, helpful, and clearly cares about customer service. Definitely a place I’ll be returning to!

I had something going on with my car and I was at my wits end. I pulled in here and they diagnosed it and fixed it within a matter of 20 minutes and even though I’m going to complain about the price a little bit, $105.03 for an oil change, only 4.2 quarts, of course it was full synthetic, but it was still exactly what my car needed and right on time or it would’ve been dead like dead dead.

David and Eric are awesome. They are not out just to get your money. I went in to get an oil change and they did not have the oil filter for my car. They could have just changed the oil and I would not have known the difference. Instead, they checked my battery, filled all my fluids and put air in my tires and did not charge me anything. I highly recommend them.
